I don't notice the beauty of his eyes
I notice how they crinkle when he laughs
I don't notice the beauty of his smile
I notice how it's weighted to the right when it's real
I don't notice the beauty of his hands
I notice how he squeezed mine comfortingly
I don't notice how he looks
I notice how he acts
I don't notice how he looks
I notice how he feels
I love him for his cheerfulness
In spite of his troubles
I love him for his kindness
To those who need it most
I love him for his wit
As he tries (and succeeds) to make me laugh
I don't love him for his looks
I love him for him
Being cheerful
Being kind
Being witty
I love him for that
