There's something about the way she laughs
That sounds like the color blue,
Like a river gurgling in its path,
And she smells like baby shampoo.There's something about the way she smiles--
When her smile is really true--
Like a star that shines for miles and miles,
And she smells like baby shampoo.But in a serious moment,
When you long to see what her mind is,
That river becomes a torrent
As she rains on you her kindness.And when her smile has disappeared
And it's worry that frowns in its place,
Love is the star, both bright and clear
That shines in her name and her face.There's something about her loving heart
That makes you see life anew;
Her laugh and her smile are a fresh clean start,
And she smells like baby shampoo.
