Just by the way you stand.
The moment of suspense, you wait
To discern what is your fate,

A hand slips in yours,

I watch along with them.

And I am all alone.
My eyes rest on you and her,
And I have turned to stone.
But rather than to cry, I smile,
Because just for this little while
You're happy.

For while she's there
