The Girl From An After School Bus Ride

Dedicated to AmarahDelano

It all started months ago,
On a field trip of sorts
Assigned seats
Assigned roles
Squished next to the one person
Who would change my life
I just didn't know it yet
Somehow, we hit it off
The girl from an after school bus ride
We bonded over the 3-4 hour trip
I don't know how
But two different girls
One loves Spider-Man, the other, Superman
One loves Converse, the other, wedges
One loves long sleeves, the other, tank tops
One is funny, the other, sarcastic
One loves Rice Krispy Treats, the other, cookie dough
Two different ages
Two different sports
Two different lives
Ended up sealed together
She changed my life
And somehow, miraculously
I changed hers
A friendship moulded instantaneously
Blossoming forever
Beautiful 'till the end of time
Who else to trust
Than the girl from an after school bus ride?

So hey, guys, again! I just got back from a wonderful vacay, and since then, I have decided to do a series of poems on my friends! So, for the next few weeks, or days, however long it may take, the only poems I will post are about my friends, and I will kinda take you through their personality, my personality, and how we became friends. This poem was about Amarah, and it was inspired by two of my friends poems (on a less happy scale, but still beautiful, so GO READ THEM!), ashleybro0ks's poem "The Boy From 5th Period", and AmarahDelano's poem, "The Boy From First Period". If it's Guy instead of Boy, I apologize. Hence, this poem kicks off the Friendship Poem Chapters! Enjoy, you guys!

Xoxo,
