The thoughts in her head

The words left unsaid on her lips

The demons she holds inside

The love she hides because she knows it'd be too good to be true if he truly loved her back

The pain that's written across her face but no one sees

The scars that are etched into her past from her naivety

The sunshine that fails to reach that far into the darkness

The boy she wants to stay, but is scared of getting too close then throwing her away

The time she checks a million times but rarely changes for her insomnia

The stars stuck to her ceiling to accentuate the void

The nightmares she never tells anyone about because they wouldn't care

The tears she cries because she knows she's no good for him

The smile she fakes because maybe it'll make someone happy

The life she tries to live but fails inherently

The solace in numbness she found at 00:00
