I'm sure that this would fit into an existing section but at this point my original organisation has long gone. But hey, as long as my titles are clear. Right?
Anyway, this is chapter suggested by @chancelloryona who quite rightly pointed out that there is an issue with age among main characters. This of course doesn't apply to all characters so chill guys. But it is a big issue (I think).
Many books, especially on Wattpad, have a high school setting so having a teenage character makes sense. But sometimes, the high school is not needed at all; it's just used as a quick filler or easy route to go down. I personally feel that many writers on here don't even consider using older characters. It might work out better. You never know?
We don't always have to have a character that is 16-18 years old. Unless the book requires the character to be high school age, I encourage writers to look beyond the obvious.
