Gollum, Frodo, and Sam were crouching on top of a large stone plateau, overlooking the Black Gate.
"The Black Gate of Mordor!" hissed Gollum.
"My Gaffer would have a thing or two to say if he saw this." stated Sam.
"Master says show him the way into Mordor, so good Sméagol does, master says so."
"I did." replied Frodo.
The three noticed that there were dozens of orcs patrolling and guarding the front entrance to the dark, barren wasteland.
"That's it then! We can't get past them!" grumbled Sam.
An Orc blew into a horn and it let out a loud, horrible, high-pitched sound. Two ginormous trolls were strapped in chains and they were pulling the gate open.
"The gate! It's opening! I can see a way down." Cried Sam, in astonishment.
Sam moved forward and leaned forward. His eyes sparkled with hope.
"Mr. Frodo! Look, the gate is open! The gate is...."
All of a sudden, Sam fell and tumbled uncontrollably down the cliff.
Sam! No!" cried Frodo.
He jumped down after his friend. When he found Sam, Frodo saw someone looking back at him. There were two Easterling soldiers approaching him.
