Sam and Frodo were sitting next each other in the deep dark cave where Faramir and his company were staying.

Sam gave Frodo a meaningful look. "We have to get out of here, Mr. Frodo." He urged. "We can't stay here any longer. Use the Ring. Just this once. Put it on. Disappear."

"No, Sam." Said Frodo, wearily. "I can't. I made a promise that I wouldn't. You were right all along. I'm sorry, Sam. So sorry." Frodo's voice drifted into a gentle whisper. "The Ring is taking a hold of me. If I put it on, he will find me. He'll see."

All of a sudden, Faramir came into the room and drew a large silver sword. He pointed it at the Ring. Frodo slowly backed into a wall, panicking.

"So..." said Faramir. "This the answer to all the riddles. Here in the wild I have you. Two haflings and a host of men at my call. And the Ring of Power at my grasp."

Frodo's bright blue eyes widened with fear. "A chance for Faramir, captain of Gondor, to show his quality."

"No!" shouted Frodo, angrily. Frodo ran and hid into a corner.

"Stop it!" cried Sam. "Leave him alone! Don't you understand?! He's got to destroy it. That's where we're going. To Mordor. To the Mountain of Fire. Please, it's such a burden."

One of Faramir's men came up to Faramir and warned him that Osgiliath was under attack. "Prepare to leave. The Ring will go to Gondor."
