Merry, Pippin and I were wading in dark, murky, water. I saw the black tower of Orthanc towering over us like a giant skyscraper.

Saruman and Gríma Wormtongue were looking down on us from the top of the tower. I let out a loud laugh.

"What's so funny, Bri?" Merry asked me.

"This is unbelievable!" I chuckled. "Look up there in the tower! I think I see Saruman! Who's that with him?"

"I have no idea." replied Merry. "Saruman doesn't look too happy, does he?" he asked Pippin and me.

"Not too happy at all, Merry."smirked Pippin.

The three of us headed over towards the front entrance.

"Still, I suppose the view would be quite nice from up there." Merry continued.

"Oh yes, a quality establishment. I hear the staff are very good." joked Pippin.

"How do you think that Saruman is going to get down from there?" I inquired.

"He probably won't be able to." replied Pippin.
"I wonder what Gandalf is going to do with him?" I asked, curiously.

"Kill him, I suppose?" Pippin replied again.

I noticed that Pippin and Merry were standing right beside each other, trying to compare their heights.

"What are you two doing?" I chuckled at them

"What are you two doing?" I chuckled at them.

"Oh, nothing. The world is back to normal, that's all." Merry grinned.

"No, it's not

"No, it's not. I'm starving." complained Pippin.

I saw an apple floating around in the water. "Hey, look. An apple." I picked up the apple and dried it with the sleeve of my bright blue jacket. I took a bite out of it. "Mmm. Best apple I've ever had."

Pippin's ears perked up. "Where did you find that apple?"

"It was floating in the water." I said.

From far away, I could see more apples bobbing about.

"Look. More apples!" I told Merry and Pippin.

"Where?"they asked me, excitedly.

As we followed the trail of apples, we found ourselves standing in front of a small chamber filled with savoury food.

"Saruman's storeroom!" cheered Merry.

The three of us looked around in the storeroom and grabbed whatever we could find. I took a jar full of delicious strawberry jam, some tasty biscuits, and a few apples and shoved them all into my pocket. I also spotted a key lying about. I decided to keep it.

"Well, Saruman's not getting this anytime soon." I snatched the key and shoved it into my jacket pocket.

Merry and Pippin found a couple of barrels full of pipe weed.

"Longbottom Leaf. The finest pipe-weed in the South Farthing." said Merry, as he examined one of the barrels.

"It's perfect!" said Pippin

"It's perfect!" said Pippin. "One barrel each!"

"But, what about Brianna?" inquired Merry. "We should leave some for her."

Merry came up to me. "We decided to share our pipe-weed with you. Would you like some?"

I shook my head. "No, that's alright, Merry. I don't smoke."

"Don't smoke?" Merry had a puzzled look on his face. "Well, then. More for us."

Before Merry could reach Pippin, I told him to stop.

"Merry, come here. There's something I want to show you."

"What did you want to show me?" he asked me. We stared into each other's eyes, blissfully.

"I'm glad that you're here with me, Merry." I smiled.

"I'm glad, too." said Merry, lightheartedly. "Now, what was it that you wanted to show me?"

I leaned foreword and gave Merry a peck on the cheek. Merry's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink.

"Well, bless me." he giggled.

He came up to me, placed his hands around my face, and kissed me softly on the lips.

"Gosh, Merry. I don't know what to say." I blushed.

"How about 'I love you'?" Merry suggested.

"Alright, then. I love you."

"I love you, too, Bri." Merry chuckled.

Merry and I turned around and found Pippin laughing. "I guess you two were meant for each other after all."

I changed the subject.

"Now, how are we going to get out of here?"

"I think we should go and look for Gandalf." suggested Pippin.

"Good idea, Pip." Merry patted him on the back.

"Come on, let's get out of this horrible place." I smiled.

As we left the storeroom, I gazed up at the twilight sky. The sun was about to set.

"Wherever you are, Frodo, I'll still be with you. In your heart. Always and Forever." I said to myself. "Always."

I clutched onto the golden heart shaped locket that Frodo gave to me and held it close to my own heart.
