"So Farkle asked me out on a "date" whatever that is and I didn't know what to do or say so I ran away." Autumn explained to Alex who was listening to the whole story about Autumn and Farkle hanging out together yesterday before school.
"Well......" Alex said, but Mia walked in with Lucy. "You won't guess what I'm doing this week." Mia began.
Kai and Braidy who were sitting on their desks looked up from their conversation. "Singing with your beautiful voice." Braidy guessed which made Kai look at him oddly.
"Dude I get you like her, but sometimes you make me want to puke." Kai said which made both Alex and Autumn laugh. "Nope I'm leaving." Mia replied.
Autumn got up. "Oh no what did you steal? Did you beat someone so bad they got sent to the hospital. I bet that's it." Autumn said. "Oh Autumn I didn't do anything bad this time." Mia said smiling. "This time." Autumn repeated. She was even more worried.
"Anyway I'm entering a contest." Mia said taking a crumbled poster out of her pocket. "Oh that's not bad." Autumn said sighing in relief. "Contest wait you aren't talking about." Kai said. Mia smirked at him.
"Yep the best horse contest in Texas." Mia explained showing them the poster. "Oh cool." Braidy said taking the poster. He read it to himself. "I'm going to win this year because I can enter Daisy. Now that she's old enough. Wanna see her?" Mia said. "Sure why not." Alex replied.
Mia took out her phone and showed them a picture of young Mia and young Daisy. They stared at the picture.
