SARAH

"You're a liar! Everything you're saying is a lie!" Sarah yelled in anger as she stood up before Lauren that was sitting calmly on the couch.

"It is true, Sarah. She made me do it. If I didnt do what she told me to do, she would have let us starve to death. Every sacrifice, every decision I made was for you. Susan, our so called foster mom? She was evil and you never even knew." A tear began to fall from Lauren's eye. She couldnt believe that everything she just told Sarah was believed as a lie. Her childhood was ruined living in the foster home. That home was a living hell for her and she promised that she would never go back.

"Susan never would have did that to you because she never would have did that to me!" Sarah quickly walked to the kitchen as Lauren followed behind her. Sarah rested her hands on the  rim of the kitchen sink, putting all of her pressure on it. She couldnt face Lauren right now. She wanted the truth for closure to help her understand why Angie was the way she was, but I guess she couldnt handle the truth. She looked out of the kitchen window above the sink and watched the wind caress the palm trees in the backyard.

"You asked for the truth and I'm givin' it to ya, sis. She never touched you, made you perform oral sex on her, or lock you in the basement for hours because she was your favorite." Lauren cooed as Sarah's back faced her. "She always bragged to the neighbors and her friends of how pretty you were. Sarah is so bright and smart."

Sarah turned so quickly that her hair fell into her face, "Shut up!" She yelled.

"Sarah is so studious."

"I said shut up, Angie!"

"Sarah is such an obedient child. Sarah this! Sarah that!"

SMACK!

Sarah slapped Lauren over the face with her bare right hand. Angie held her cheek with her mouth wide open as she stood in shock. Sarah was still by the kitchen sink, breathing heavily of anger.

The kitchen grew silent then Sarah's face instantly shown remorse. She lowered her head to get herself together then looked at Lauren. "I didnt mean that." she said in a low monotone.

"Sure you did." Lauren smirked while releasing a small chuckle. "Sarah, I tried my best to protect you and all I ask is for you to pay back a major debt that you owe." Lauren walked over to the fridge, staring inside to see what was there, and helped herself to a Natty Boh. She slowly walked over to the kitchen table, opened the beer, and took a gulp.

".... a major debt. Now I have to get some sleep tonight. Tomorrow is a big day for me and I have to be well rested."

AFRA & JAESON

Today was a big day for Afra and Jaeson. They were waiting in the waiting room of the clinic for Rochelle to arrive. Today was the day that Rochelle was to conceive a baby, a Coventry at that. The clinic was awfully busy because the appointment time of the procedure was 9:30 a.m. and the time was currently 10:30 a.m. Rochelle and Dr. Herring were nowhere to be found. Jaeson was a little frustrated because he thought it was definitely unprofessional to be late to a surrogacy procedure. On the other hand, Afra was infuriated.

"Where is she, Jae!?" Afra yelled as she jumped out of her chair. "I'm going to the receptionist to see what's going on." she waltzes over to the receptionist desk as Jaeson watched her, sitting at the edge of his seat.

"Excuse me." Afra said to get the receptionist's attention.

The lady looked up at Afra with a friendly smile. "Yes, how can I help you?"
