LAUREN

Lauren was angry, upset, and treated like a fool. The meeting that she had with Afra two weeks ago made her realize that she had to take things to the next level to get Her out of the picture. It took awhile for her to figure out a plan and it finally ticked. If Jaeson wouldn't confess that he loved Lauren, then she would have to take matters into her own hands to prove it. She needed hard core, legitimate evidence.

Just as Lauren thought of a plan, Sarah had walked through the door. It was 5:30 in the afternoon and she assumed that she had just gotten off of work. Lauren had spent the entire day on the couch, watching movies and catching up on her favorite tv shows because She had felt sick to her stomach all day. For the past two days, anything that Lauren walked pass smelled like onions and garlic, causing her to throw up anything she ate previously.

Sarah locked the door behind her and walked through the foyer with her purse and briefcase in hand. When she saw Lauren sitting in the same place she had seen her in when she left for work, she made out a deep sigh.

"Let me guess, you feel sick again?" Sarah asked sarcastically while rolling her eyes.

Lauren groaned in pain while switching her body in a different position on the couch. "Yeah. I saw a commercial about the new Shake Shack burger and I ran for the toilet. So disgusting" She cooed.

"Well how long will you be sick? You can't be sitting on your butt all day. It's been two weeks. Have you landed any job interviews yet?" Sarah questioned. She sat her purse and briefcase on the desk that sat in the living room then plopped down in the chair that sat beside the desk as she kicked off her six-inch heels.

"How am I suppose to find a job and I'm sick to my stomach?" Lauren moaned.

"I don't know. Maybe fill out applications online?" Sarah said smartly while rubbing her feet.

"I will, but just not right now. I'm not feeling well. I feel like sh-" Lauren felt a groggy growl roll in her stomach. She felt the contents roll up her throat, and when she felt it reach her mouth, she jumped up and ran for the bathroom upstairs to release it.
Meanwhile, Sarah watched her sick sister run up the spiral staircase of her apartment. She shook her head at what she had seen. She was exhausted and fed up of watching her sister relax in her house all day as she worked her butt off eight hours a day, five days a week for the past two weeks.

Sarah got up from the chair and started to clean up the mess Lauren had left on the couch, "You need any ginger ale?!" She whales out.

"No!" -spits up- "I could actually use som-" -spits up-  "tea."

"Ok! I'll make you some peppermint tea!" Sarah said. She was about to make her way to the kitchen when the news anchor on the television stopped her in her tracks. She stood in front of the tv with her arms crossed over her chest, listening to the breaking news of the week.

Breaking news! A few days ago, a woman was found dead in her home in Laurel Springs. The police says she was murdered by a slit to the throat with a pocket knife. They also believe that the victim knew her killer. The blood on the crime scene was discovered as a woman named Rochelle Rodriguez and Lauren Summers, who's assumed as the leading suspect. Here's a sketch that the Cloverdale Police Department put together to show what the leading suspect may look like. If you have any questions or if you know this woman, please contact Cloverdale Police at the number below.

Sarah's eyes widened as she couldn't believe what she just saw. The sketch that the news revealed on the television was the sketch of her sister, Angie. At this point, she didn't know what to do. To call the police or protect her sister like she always protected her when they were kids? Just as Sarah turned to make her way to the kitchen, she was startled by Lauren standing at the end of the staircase, wiping the corners of her mouth.

"What's wrong, Sarah? It looks like you just saw a murderer."
