Don had been driving for almost a half an hour on Route 23 towards Coral Springs. He was glad to take this some what of a long ride because he was able to clear his head and ease the stress of his job. Don enjoyed being the head detective of the precinct, but it came with a lot of responsibilities and stress. Sometimes, he blamed his job for taking away from his social and love life. Don hadn't seen Jaeson for months since the wedding and apparently he didn't have a love life either since he was still living alone in his one bedroom apartment at 36 years old.

"I need a vacation." Don stated to himself in a stressful manner. He was very tired at that moment, but what was more important was that he needed to find more answers about Lauren to solve the case.

Don merged off of the highway on exit 34, heading towards Coral Springs. Ten minutes later, he parked the Chevy Impala in front of the Coventry's residence. Before getting out of the car, he observed the home of what he assumed Donna lived alone in. Donna's 240,000 square feet home was a mansion. It contained a multiple bird baths on the front lawn, beds of colorful flowers, and a cobble stone walkway that led to the tall wooden door.

"Maybe I should had changed careers." Don said while staring at the front yard.

"'May I help you with something?" A tall caramel toned woman asked. She was dressed in an all white Givenchy dress that was whiter than a line of cocaine and a pair of Louie Vuitton sandals. The woman was mysterious of why a strange man was staring at her by his parked car in her drive way while tending to her little garden of orchards and daisies. She knew she wasn't expecting anyone, so she decided to interrupt her stress-relieving hobby to find out who he was.

"Yeah." Said Don as he watched the mid-ages woman walk down the cobble stone walk way towards him as she clicked her sandal heels on every step, "I'm looking for Donna Coventry. Is she home?"

"Depends on who might be asking." Donna smiled after a long pause occurred, "Boy I know who you are. You're Jae's friend, Don." she laughed as she reached out for Don for a warm hug.

Don responded back with a ball of laughter while embracing the woman he called his second mom, "I almost thought I was at the wrong house."

"Nope. You're at the right place." Donna released Don's embraced, still latching on to his forearms, "I've been living here for almost two years."

"I'm sorry I didn't call before I came. I just--" Don sighed while trying to not to catch the guilt from Donna'a eyes. He released from Donna's latch, then looked up at her "--I just didn't want to come back after Mr. Coventry passed. I figured you weren't at peace yet."

"Boy, I've been at peace! I loved Bennett all my life, but it was that fool's time to die anyway."

Don's face turned up into confusion as to why he thought Donna wished death upon her own husband, "why you say that?"

"I may be fifty-two, but I ain't no fool! That lame excuse of a husband was going outside of our marriage for years, but I just dealt with it. I was with him when he had nothing at 16, so why leave him then when I can just wait until he's dead?"

Don said nothing. It was a very awkward situation for him. Donna did not show any remorse for her husband's death and he just couldn't understand why. Maybe for the life insurance? Or maybe for the money he had stashed? Either way, it was none of Don's business.

To take his mind off of the touchy subject, Don got to the real reason why he came to see Donna, "The real reason why I'm here, Ms. Coven--"

"OH NO!" Donna exclaimed in disgust, "Don't call me that name no mo'!"

"Well...Ms. Donna."

Donna's face was fixed into satisfaction after hearing the right name she wanted to hear.
