AFRA & JAESON

"I told you to talk to her when we had that conversation and what did she do? She disrespected me and you didn't do anything about it!" Afra yelled while pointing her finger in Jaeson's face.

After the procedure was over, Afra and Jaeson had came home and things went completely left. Afra was not joking when she said that things would be discussed at home, but it was less than likely a discussion. It turned into a heated argument. They had been yelling in their bedroom for over twenty minutes and things were just getting started.

"You better get your fingers out of my face, Afra! I'm not one of your little assistants at work. I'm you're husband and I deserve a little more respect!" Jaeson yelled back angrily as he pushed Afra's finger out of his face.

Afra moved her finger in Jaeson's face again. She was not afraid of anyone that approached her, not even her husband. "And what are you going to do about it? Respect you? You disrespected me by not following my wishes! I told you to lay down the line with Rochelle, but you wasn't man enough to tell her. Now I'm going to tell her since you won't." Afra had walked away into the kitchen to grab her a glass of wine. It had been a long day and she needed a drink. A very strong one at that. Jaeson was yelling after her while following her in her track, but she didn't listen.

"Afra! Afra! I know you hear me calling you!" Jaeson yelled at the top of his lungs. He was infuriated at this point and it was no way of him coming down. As he walked into the kitchen, he yanked Afra's arm so that she could face him, but Afra wouldn't budge.

SMACK!

Afra had back slapped Jaeson in the face as she held the wine glass in the other hand.

"Don't touch me like that again! If you do, you will never lay eyes on me ever again! The only thing that would be standing next to you is that pathetic, vindictive bitch of a mom we hired!" Afra eyes fumed in rage. She had never thought in a million years that Jaeson would grab her this way. Even when they were dating, he never touched nor grabbed her in that manner and she wasn't letting Jaeson start doing it now.

Jaeson held his face with his hand and dabbed his cheek to check for blood. As he looked at his fingers, there were spots of blood dripping from it. Jaeson didn't believe in hitting women, but he was going to get her back with words that would hit Afra below the stomach. "Oh now she's pathetic and vindictive?! Just a few days ago you were begging for Rochelle to be our surrogate mom and now you've switched up and changed?! If you're so dissatisfied with this, why don't you have a baby yourself? Oh I forgot, you can't because your eggs won't hatch!" Jaeson chuckled in an evil manner as he watched his wife's mouth open in shock. Her eyes began to turn more evil than before. I guess his choice of words worked because Afra began to shed tears from her eyes.

"GET OUT! GET OUT NOW!" Afra screamed.

Jaeson didn't budge. He was still standing a few feet away from Afra in the kitchen. They stared at each other for awhile until Afra yelled out again, "I SAID PACK YOUR THINGS AND GET OUT!"

"Fine." Jaeson responded dryly. He walked into their bedroom and went into the closet. He began packing clothes into his gym duffle bag. Once he was done, he grabbed his duffle bag, wallet, and keys as he walked back into the kitchen. He walked pass Afra as he headed for the kitchen door that lead to the driveway. Before opening it, he looked back at Afra, but she wasn't paying him any attention. She was too busy sipping a glass of Chardonnay. He opened the kitchen door and left.

AFRA

Afra couldn't believe the words her husband spoke out of his mouth. She was not only upset that he didn't stick up for her while at the clinic, but for not putting Rochelle in her place. Jaeson had also crossed the line when he threw the most hurtful thing about her back into her face. She loved Jaeson so much, but things were starting to go down hill already and it had only been a few months that her and Jaeson had been married.

She was frustrated, hurt, fed up, and emotional all in one. Afra also felt stupid to let a woman get in between her marriage so quickly. Since Jaeson didn't nip the situation in the bud on his own, it was her turn to step up to the plate. Afra Coventry was not having it at all.

After finishing the last drops of her Chardonnay, Afra went into the bedroom to retrieve her purse. When she opened it, she pulled out her cell phone and began to dial a number that she had programmed into her phone. The phone had rung three times and the person had picked up on the other end.

"Hi, Mrs. Coventry. I see you must have something really important to talk about to be calling me this late at night." Lauren said slyly.

"Yeah I do. Meet me at the coffee shop on 54th street in twenty minutes." Afra hung up the phone without waiting for Rochelle's response. She grabbed her shoes, purse, and car keys and headed out the door. She hopped into the Jeep Wrangler and roared the engine twice before putting the car in drive.

"Well, Ms. Rochelle Rodriguez. It's just me and you this time." She spoke before pulling out of the drive way.

Afra was no longer the nice woman that Rochelle had met and she hoped that this meeting would actually knock some sense into her.
