I won't be alone like I used to
That's what I thought when the day comes
Because like others I believe
That you gotta have faith, not when a miracle happens
But when they don't you gotta have it
And I can't help but keep and hold on to it.
So imagine what I feel, when one day
you bend on your knees, hug me and asked for forgiveness
Because you realize how blind you were
And stupid for not knowing all along
But now that the feelings are the same
I don't mind that I've waited that long
All that matters is I love you and you feel just the same
Which made the waiting worth it all.
Now I'd like to shout and tell
For the whole world wide to know
A story that's not really new
But not too old to ignore too
Because it's no other but, the story of us.
