In which Phil and Jewel prepare for the inevitable

After Phil spent an hour or so crying to Dan about how much he'd miss Jewel and why he didn't want her to leave, he washed his face with cold water then grabbed his phone. He dialled her number, and as soon as she picked up, he wasted no time, "Come over and cuddle."
Jewel chuckled, "I can't, I have to pack. I'm leaving in two weeks Phil."
"So? You can spend one night with me."
"You can come over here."
"Leave your spare key under the mat." Was all he said as he hung up. He began fixing his hair in the mirror and dashed out the door without any warning to Dan.
Once Phil showed up, he unlocked the door with the spare key, opening it up and locking it as he stepped inside. "Jewel?" He called out, shutting the door behind him.
He walked into her room, looking around at the boxes. They were empty, but stuff was moved around.
He saw her standing out on her balcony, and he walked outside, standing beside her and putting his hand atop of hers on the guard railing.
"I'm gonna be a million miles away." She stated, "After being only a couple minutes away from you since we were kids."
Phil looked at the stars. "Hey, it's okay. We can always visit each other, Skype one another-"
"Yeah but it won't be the real thing." She pouted at him, and he turned to look at her. He didn't wanna push it, so he interlocked their fingers, "Hey, I came to cuddle, why haven't I gotten my cuddles yet?" He questioned, having her giggle.
The two walked back to her room, and instantly began to cuddle on the bed. They laid in silence, just enjoying the moment with one another.
"Phil?" Jewel broke the silence as Phil nuzzled his face in her hair.
"Hm?" He hummed, obviously falling asleep.
Jewel fixed herself under the covers, looking out the window at the crescent moon. "I love you." She told him. There was silence, until she heard snores behind her. She giggled, turning over slowly to look at him. Phil tightened his grip around her, and she moved her head down as he placed his chin on the top of her head. "I love you so much.."
