When the last few hours always feel like seconds

Jewel and Phil were sat in front of the camera one last time. Phil decided he wanted to tell the Phandom what was going on, so that he didn't have to explain it later.

"Hey guys," Phil began, not even bothering to smile, "So, Jewel and I have something to tell you." He looked at her, and she grinned softly.

"So, for those of you who don't know or who are new, I perform at a local pub every Monday through Friday. And last week, I got a contract from a producer. But to take it, I have to go to L.A." Jewel explained, and Phil looked down at his hands.

Phil looked up at the camera, "So, Jewel's going to be leaving. And her and I have both decided that it'd be best that, when she leaves, her and I end things."

The two of them fell silent. Jewel grabbed Phil's hand, squeezing it softly. "We just wanted to make this quick video to tell you guys what was going to happen." Phil whispered just loud enough for the mic to capture.

"Now please, remember, we both agreed on this." Jewel spoke up, and Phil nodded. "I'm definitely going to come back and visit, but it's going to be hard. So this'll be best for the both of us."

"Yeah." Was all Phil could say. The two of them looked down at the ground, then at each other. "Well, uh, I guess this is it. The last video we'll make together for a while.." Phil said, and Jewel tried to hold back her tears. She's gonna miss doing stupid challenges with Phil, and occasionally being on Dan's channel.

"Yeah."

They both looked at the camera, and they both sighed before putting on small grins. "Bye guys."

And with that, Phil shut the camera off.
