When I close the door for one last time, will the days we had get left behind?

Phil walked back inside the flat the next day in the same clothes, praying Dan didn't notice he was gone.

He walked up the steps and into the lounge, stopping in his tracks when he saw Dan sitting on the couch. "Hey Phil, I made you coffee. Three hours ago."

Phil grinned, "Yeah I uh.. Slept in the toilet."

Dan couldn't help but laugh, "That's the best you could do?" He continued to laugh, Phil joining in.

"So what happened, did you just walk in or did she drag you in?" Dan wasn't an idiot, he knew what happened. And he loves to tease Phil for it whenever it does.

Phil tried to walk away, but Dan tossed a pillow at the back of his head. "A bloody text would've been nice so I didn't make you coffee and waste coffee beans!"

"I'm sorry!" Phil laughed, picking up the pillow and putting it back.

Jewel woke up to an empty bed, groaning as she looked around. Her door was closed, so she took advantage and rushed around her room, putting on pyjamas. She exited the room, entering the kitchen to be met by Aleysa.

"Good morning sleepy head." Aleysa greeted her. "I made waffles." Aleysa pointed towards the plate of waffles, and Jewel smiled.

"Thanks." She grabbed a plate and then a waffle, serving herself.

"So like, I know it's healthy for relationships and all that, but could you and Phil be a little less rowdy at midnight? Some people try to sleep at that time you know." Aleysa asked, and Jewel blushed.

"Sorry, I'm not used to having a roommate." Jewel avoided eye contact.

"Oh, not your first time huh?" Aleysa teased, giggling as she elbowed Jewel lightly.

"No.." Jewel muttered. "But I'm sure it's our last."
