You know I just can't pull myself away. The more I fight, the more I wanna stay. And now I just can't find the words to say. So I wish that I.. Could take you in my suitcase..

Dan, Phil and Aleysa were escorting Jewel to her gate, also assisting her with her bags. They all walked in silence, not knowing what to say.

When they reached her gate, they placed her bags on the conveyor belt, watching them go into the other room.

They all took a seat, staring at the clock. Phil held a firm grip on her hand, not taking his eyes off her. She was too busy staring at the clock and her flight boarding time.

Suddenly, Jewel looked at Phil, "What if I'm not good enough? What if the industry hates me?"

"They're gonna love you." He reassured her, grinning at her.

"But what if they don't? Then what?"

"Then you prove them wrong and show them that with or without them, you can do this." He told her, and she looked down at her promise ring.

He kissed her cheek, feeling his heart break as he remembered this might be the last time he gets to do that.

"Flight 209 now boarding."

"That's me." Jewel whispered, and they all got up. Jewel hugged Aleysa first, squeezing her tightly, "I wish I could've stayed longer for your return."

"Don't sweat it." She said, rubbing her back.

She backed away, smiling at her. "Take care of the flat. It has a lot of value to me."

Aleysa chuckled, "I'll try."

She moved onto Dan, and they smiled at one another before hugging. "Take care of Phil for me." Jewel whispered, feeling her tears begin to form in her eyes.

"Someone's got to." Dan said, the both of them chuckling.

Jewel sighed. "You're like my brother Dan. I'm gonna miss you."

"Just make sure to Skype us." Dan said, Jewel smiled as she wiped away her tear. "Of course."

Finally, she moved onto Phil. They stared at one another for a couple moments, then Jewel let out a sob. Phil pulled her into a tight hug, letting himself cry as well.

They've said goodbye before, but this one was so bad that now they don't think they could handle it.

"I love you." Phil whispered, sobbing slightly afterwards. Jewel didn't hold back, she cried harder than Phil's ever seen her cry before, "I love you so much." She cried out.

"You've been there when no one else was. You were my shoulder to cry on when I needed it. And you were only a phone call away. What am I gonna do now that I can't just go running to your house when something goes wrong?" Jewel cried, and Phil shook his head.

"I'll always be one call away." He told her. "I'm never gonna abandon you. No matter how far you are."

It fell silent between them, and Jewel buried her face in his chest. Phil looked up at Dan and Aleysa, who were sat on a chair. Aleysa was staring at the ground in silence, Dan was watching the whole thing unfold.

Phil looked away from Dan and at the floor, and Jewel looked up at Phil. She planted one last kiss on his lips, and once they backed away, she took a step back. She wiped her tears, fiddling with her promise ring as she walked with her carry-on, headed back to the USA.

As she was walking through the doors to leave the UK, she turned and looked at Phil once more. Phil waved, and she blew him a kiss.

"I love you, Lion." She mouthed, and he grinned. "Lion loves you more."

And with that, Jewel was gone. And Phil felt like a part of him left with her.
