Take you in my suitcase..

Phil was sat on his bed, watching a whole bunch of videos of Jewel on his laptop.

Dan walked in, grinning at Phil. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Phil lied.

Dan sat next to Phil, looking at his screen.

"I miss her too." Dan said, watching the video end.

Phil sighed, shutting his laptop. "I want her to come back." He whispered.

"She's not dead, Phil." Dan tried to lighten the mood as he chuckled, but failed as Phil hugged his pillow. Phil looked at Lion across the room.

I love you, Lion..

Dan got up, walking out after his failed attempt to make Phil happy.

Phil sighed, taking off his jacket. He threw it across the room when he heard something fall out of it. He went to investigate, seeing a hard drive. "For Lion" it said on it.

"Jewel.." Phil whispered, rushing back to his laptop. As he waited for it to load after he put it in, he stared intensely at the screen. When it finally loaded up, he opened it up and looked at it.

There were three videos. Each were a number. He started with 1.

"Hey sweetheart!" Jewel smiled on the screen, and Phil already felt his eyes beginning to water. "I uh.. I miss you. A lot. I know I'm in the UK right now but, in your time I'm either in the USA or on the plane. Depending on when you find this."

Phil wiped his eyes. "I hope you know that I love you, so much. I hate that I have to leave you behind. If it were up to me, I'd be able to take you with me. Well, anyway, I uh, wanna sing you a song. I wrote it the day after you took me out for dinner."

She took a deep breath. "The sun, is setting, and you're right here by my side. And the movie is playing, but we won't be watching tonight.."

Phil watched as his tears fell down his face. She left a little bit of her behind, just for him..

When she finished the song, she blew a kiss, "I love you Lion."

The video ended, and Phil quickly went into the next. "Hello sweetheart, I wanted to tell you.." She looked down at her hands, twiddling her thumbs. "I really love you. A lot. And please, don't consider me leaving a goodbye. Consider it a, 'I'll see you later' kind of deal. Phil listen to me, I will always love you. No matter how far away I go. No matter how long I'm away from you. I will always love you."

Phil nodded, even though she couldn't see it.

Once that video ended, Phil went straight to the next one. Instead of Jewel greeting him, it began with music.

He's never heard this song, so he was very confused. "Midnight, shadows, where finding light is a battle. But daylight, is so close, so don't you worry about a thing. We're gonna be, alright." She sang to him, smiling widely. Phil smiled, laying back in bed. "We're gonna be alright."

Phil grabbed his photo of Jewel by his bed, and smiled as he held it to his chest. "We're gonna be alright." He sang along quietly.
