Gajeel remembered what happened the other nights like it was yesterday.
That's because it was yesterday.
Gajeel got drunk last night from a successful big mission and Y/N was having a girls night with her friends.
Gajeel drank a 'little' and might've slept with a girl.
He didn't remember anything but waking up, naked, next to a naked girl and alcohol scent filling the air.
Gajeel shuddered at the memory and trudged back home, depressed.

When he arrived home, he crashed into the bed and fell asleep.

He opened his eyes and stared up to e/c eyes.
"Dinners already cold, and I threw it out, I hope you don't mind." She said, crawling into bed with him.
"No, it's okay squirt." Gajeel replied, guilt eating his heart as he remembered.
"Hey... Y/N." He said.
"Yes, Gajeel?"
"I.. I don't know how to say this.." Gajeel took a deep breath, "Imightvecheatedonyousorryididntmeanto-"
"Woah, calm down," Y/N giggled, "Slow down."
"I.. Cheated on you." Gajeel almost chocked out, staring at Y/N for her reaction.
Y/N's mouth dropped open to a 'o'.
"W-what?"

"I heard you the first time." Y/N said, coldly.
"Look, Y/N, I didn't mean it," Gajeel explained, "I was drunk and I didn't remember anything. I'm sorry."
Y/N's eyes started to pool with tears just waiting to spill.
"When?"
"Yesterday, while you were with the girls."

"So, you lied to me." She said, sniffling. "You said you did nothing when I asked you about yesterday."
"I-I was scared." Gajeel confessed, "I love you and I don't want you to leave. I didn't meant it, honestly." Gajeel plead.
"Y-you didn't m-mean it?" She whimpered out, tears now sliding down her cheeks.
"Honest." Gajeel sighed, "Look, I know I messed up, and I'm sorry. I promise I'll do better."
"Honest?"
"Honest."
Y/N hugged Gajeel, "I love you, Gajeel and I believe you didn't mean it... Just don't do it again. Please. Next time, I won't be with you."
"I know, there will be no next time." Gajeel reassured.
