Gajeel glanced out the window, looking at the same sidewalk where she ran out of his life.
He sighed and walked to the kitchen, looking away from the knives and sharp objects.
Gajeel never thought he would reach such a low point in his life, him dealing with the weight of the world and the expectations.
He worked as a actor in the TV show series, Fairy Tail. He recently has been dating a girl from the TV show and they recently just broken up.
She said that things just didn't feel right. Then a week later, Gajeel found out that she's been cheating on him with some other dude.
Gajeel wondered constantly wondered why, was he not good enough for her? Did he not fit her needs?
This led to anxiety. He was terrified of falling in love again. It's been 2 months, still a fresh wound, waiting to be healed. Or it could become a scar, one that will last for the rest of his life.
Gajeel tried being strong and thought about why people cut themselves and out of curiosity, he did it one night.
He loved every second of it.
He guessed that's what terrified him the most, he loved it. He loved the thought of him dying. He loved the pain.
Gajeel grabbed a water bottle and a jacket, then getting into the car. He tried to get his mind off everything by going to a near by park, usually deserted. Away from the paparazzi and the media.
His secret little hiding place.
He pulled up the hoodie jacket and cover most of his face with the dark black hoodie.
Gajeel walked around the park, admiring the lake and the trees, there was occasionally a jogger, or other people, but never too much.
He looked across the lake, looking at the sail boats, and the houses. He could almost see-
Gajeel felt cement smack his back.
"Sorry!" A voice called out.
He looked up and met shining e/c eyes.
A girl stood there, worry etched across her face. Her h/c hair was in a loose pony tail, she was wearing a f/c loose tank top and black yoga pants, sweat on her face clearly said she was a jogger.
"Are you ok?" She asked, then offering a hand.
"Yeah." Gajeel said, accepting the hand.
"I wasn't watching where I was going, I'm sorry." She apologized, profusely, "I was looking at the squirrel and then I hit you, I didn't see you even thought I should've saw your huge shadow, I'm sorry." She babbled.
Gajeel cracked a small smile at her cuteness, "It's ok, I wasn't watching where I was going too."
"Did you hurt anything?" She asked.
"Just a sore butt." Gajeel said.
"My name is Y/N." She said, extending a hand.
"Gajeel." He said, shaking her hand.
"It's pretty early, what are you doing out here?" Y/N asked.
"Just enjoying the scenery." Gajeel said.
"I seen you around here, do you live nearby?" She asked. "Not too sound creepy
"No, I don't mind, I live just up Wallaby Way."
A car honked in the distance.
"That's my cue," she smiled at him again, "Hopefully I'll be seeing you soon, Bye Gajeel."
And she ran off to the car.
For the first time in months, Gajeel smiled genuinely.
He didn't know why, but he liked her.
And he hoped he will see her soon too.
