So, I heard you guys like tragic stuff.

Good thing I love writing them.

Gajeel kissed Y/N and whispered "Wait for me."

She smiled sadly at him. "I always will."

He smiled and kissed her pregnant stomach, then left the house

Y/N stared at the hill in the distance.

A small hand tugged her shirt.

"Mommy?" Said her son.

He has black, thick hair from his father and soft e/c from Y/N. His personality was more like his father but still had the same undying passion as his mother.

"Yes, honey?"

"Is this where Daddy died?" He asked, looking at the hill.

Y/N scooped up c/n.

Now the hill was full of life, flowers bloomed and grass grew. Before that, the hill was barren, along with the valley next to it.

In its soil, were its dead bodies and living memories.

"Yes..." She said.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she remembered his last words to her.

The child looked alarmed, not used to seeing his mother crying, he quickly wiped her tears away with his thumb.

Y/N forced out a laugh, "Now cmon, we have to get back to the hotel."

Y/N always tried the best to play the father and mother role for her son, teaching him how to shave, how to ask a girl out, how to play sports.

She thought about getting married again, but never met anybody who hasn't reminded her of Gajeel.

Levy, Natsu and the whole guild did whatever they could to help her.

Juvia was her best friend, also losing her husband to the war.

Juvia was now remarried to Lyon but never could forget her 'Gray~sama'

Y/N was still single and wasn't ready to mingle.

She always told her son stories of Gajeel and smiled through everything he did.

Even though he knows that she cried herself to sleep most nights.

Gajeel yelled at his son to punch the boy back.

"C'mon! Give him a go-"

Y/N calmly walked forward and socked the student in the face.

The crowd gasped.

Gajeel chuckled and was about to touch Y/N's shoulder but then remembered that he was a ghost.

"That's my girl."

"Move along." Y/N said, coldly.

The crowd quickly disappeared, scared of the woman.

Y/N walked over to the groaning student.

"Talk to my son that way and I'll make sure you never live happy again."

The student nodded and scrambled away.

C/n stood, staring at his mom, mouth agape.

"Mom, wha-" he started.

"If he bothers you again, tell me or you will never get wifi, ever." She threatens.

C/n gulped a then followed his mom to their car.

Gajeel smirked at the students running figure and said "That's why I fell in love with her."

.•*•.

"M-mom?" C/n said, tears rolling down his face.

"Just smiled, and take care of your wife." Y/N said, tired.

"I-I know."

Y/N smiled, softly and said "I taught you well."

She looked out the hospital window and said, dreamily, "I'll see your father again. It's been too long."

C/n sniffles a laugh, "Tell him I wish I could've met him, and thank you for not using a condom."

Y/N glared playfully at C/n, "Now who taught you those words?"

"You did, Mom." C/n chuckled.

Gajeel laughed and watched as the nurse shooed C/n away.

Y/N looked at the ceiling and drifted off the end of her life.

Gajeel smiled, sadly. He watched her heart monitor slowly fades.

"It's been too long."

He turned around to meet Y/N's young, smiling face.

"Welcome to afterlife, squirt."

"Still calling me that?" She laughed.

"It's never going away."

Y/N looked at her dead body. "You've been here the whole time?"

"I'm always there."
