Listen to Sorry, by Beyoncé. She slays the whole fucking earth.
Gajeel watched as Y/N waded through the crowd, she smiling and holding up her drink.
She gave a loose smile and walked over to the crowd on the dance floor.
Gajeel clenched his cup of beer as a guy danced around her.
He regretted the day where he left for the night.
"Where where you?" Y/N demanded.
"I was on a mission." Gajeel lied.
"Not this late at night." She said.
"What does it matter? I'm here now." Gajeel said, frustrated.
"I asked Pantherlily, he said you weren't on a mission."
He looked at Y/N. She leaned on the door frame, arms crossed.
He walked closer to her and cupped his hands around her frowning face.
"There was something I.. Needed to take care of." Gajeel said. "I love you, and I'm here now."
Her eyes started to tear up and she pulled away, walking away.
The guy wrapped his hands around Y/N's waist, she was intoxicated.
She grinned up at the random dude, then kissing his lips messily.
Gajeel almost wanted to chuck his drink at them.
Y/N grinned at the dude and pulled his shirt collar to a booth.
Gajeel teared his eyes away and stared at the drink he was clutching his hand.
"I had enough!" She screamed.
"Good!" Gajeel yelled back.
"You think I don't know what you do?" Y/N said, tears rolling down her cheeks. She laughed dryly, "I know you sleep with that girl."
She stared straight into his eyes, "I know you've been cheating on me. And you know what? I pray that you would stop and I would forget what happened."
Y/N raked her hands through her hair, "I loved you, Gajeel. But if you think I need you." She glared lasers into his eyes. "Then you're wrong."
Gajeel pushed the girl off his lap and got up hastily, regretting his decisions.
He trudged out of the bar and into the winter snow.
She was right.
She didn't need him.
But Gajeel felt like he needed her.
"Wait, Y/N." Gajeel tried, holding her arm.
She ripped away and continued stuffing her bag with clothes.
Their dog, Ace, whimpered in the corner.
"I'm taking Ace." Y/N said, coldly.
"W-Wha?"
"Arguments closed. And we are going to live a good life without you." She sneered and pulled the leash on Ace, guiding him.
"We can work this out, you don't ha-"
"Go live your side chick life, Gajeel. I hope I never see you again."
And the door slammed shut.
Gajeel laid down on the bed, along with a random person beside him.
Like every other night,
Numb from his pain.
