Chapter three

Bankai you can pick which you like better^^

The next morning on your way to school you feel a familiar presence. Stopping in your tracks you turn around coming face to face with Grimmjow jeagerjaques one of your only friends in Heuco Mundo. You know what he's here for and you can see a hint of guilt in his eyes as he gazes at you.

"Grim?" You ask in panic glancing around looking for an exit or possibly a weapon without leaving your body.

"Hey y/n"

"You should leave" You say your face hardening clenching your school bag harder.

"You know I can't leave without you y/n, Aizen would have my head"

"You never saw me, lie to him. Tell him that I was never here"

"y/n, don't make this any harder than it has to be, you need to come home"

"I'm nothing like you! That- That horrible place isn't my home!" You shout catching Grimmjow off guard and making people passing by stare at you strangely.

"y/n" Grimmjow says sternly stepping toward you.

"Aizen will kill me if I go back" You say taking a step back to keep the distance between you and Grimmjow.

"He'll  kill  you if you continue to run"

"Grim....Please" You beg not meeting his eyes until Grimmjow looks around alarmed.

"Damn... " He grumbles before disappearing without a trace. 

You release a breath you didn't know you were holding and hear footsteps coming towards you.

"Hey y/n what're you doing in the middle of the street?" Ichigo says reaching you and you mentally sigh in relief able to relax a bit.

"Ichigo....Sorry I uh thought I forgot something." You lie and Ichigo gives you a look that he doesn't really buy it.

"Well come on we're going to be late" 

You make it to school on time and you can tell Ichigo knows somethings up with you by the way he keeps glancing in your direction but he doesn't bring it up which you are thankful for. When the bells sounds for lunch you and Ichigo make it to the roof where you meet the gang for lunch but it seems you're the first two there. Ichigo sits down taking out his lunch and begins eating while you chew on your lip deep in thought.

"So are you going to tell me what happened this morning?" Ichigo says looking at you briefly.

"I ran into an old friend" 

"Who?"

"It's...Not important"

"Y/n I saw you talking to Grimmjow. He's lucky he left before I could get to him"

"He wouldn't have hurt me"

"He's working for Aizen y/n! He doesn't care about you!" Ichigo scolds and you glare at him.

"I'm trying to protect you y/n, it's hard to do that when you go looking for trouble." 

"I wasn't looking for Grim, He found me and I didn't ask for you protection Ichigo. 

"What are you going to do if Aizen sends someone after you?"

"I can take care of myself Ichigo" You huff walking away from Ichigo and off the roof passing the others on the way. You skip school and make your way to a nearby park watching a couple little kids play ball while their parents lazily watch a few feet away. You sit there until you see Orihime sit down next to you, school must have just let out.

"You know Ichigo really cares about you, He only wants whats best"

"How'd you know"

"The whole school could hear you two arguing."

"Why are you telling me this, don't you have a crush on him?" You say bringing your knees to your chest.

"Not since I met Uryu, I think you guys need to apologize to eachother"

"Ichigo? Apologize? Good luck." You sneer raising an eyebrow in disbelief.

"Come on why don't we walk home, it's getting late" Orihime smiles and you manage a small smile back. 

When you reach your house you turn to give Orihime a hug and she gladly returns it.

"Thank you for the talk"

"Anytime" Orihime giggles before walking off to her own house for the night.

You step into your home turning on the light yelling your presence before noticing everyone already gone to sleep. You find some left over dinner in the fridge and heat that up before taking a shower and going to sleep thinking about how you're going to face Ichigo tomorrow.
