= chapter 3 =

All I want to do is fall onto my bed and rest and my headache was now worse than ever. I walked into the kitchen to put my bowl and spoon into the dishwasher then I pad across the kitchen to get 2 Ibuprofen pills. I gulp them down as I put the kettle on the stove to make tea. I ran into the kitchen to pick out a movie from the movie shelf next to the TV. I decide on Warm Bodies! It is my third favorite movie! Into the kitchen I go to retrieve my peppermint tea adding 2 sugar cubes. With the movie in my left hand and my tea in the other I run up the stairs trying to not spill my tea... sadly I fail.

I finally reach my room down the hallway. Sitting my tea on my bedside table, I walk over to the DVD player and slide the movie in. Then I turn on the TV and grab the controllers, throwing myself onto the bed.

I can never get over this movie! Its a different type of beautiful that can only be described in that way. I jump when I hear the front door shut with a lot of force. Is mom mad?  I pad down the creeky stairs of our cute but classic home, making my way over to her I notice the smile on her face is almost to large to even fit on her face anymore. What's going on?

  I can see that she is excited. She looks at me then pats the spot next to her on the couch. I run over and sit next to her.

"Can you please tell me what is going on already!?"

"Okay!.. Okay! So my boss called me into his office today and to be honest I wasnt sure what the hell he was about to tell me. I sat down on the leather chair in front of his desk and he looked at me. He had a huge smile on his face like mine right now. It was silent then he spoke up and said ' I will just cut to the chase Carry... you have always asked me about attempting to find you a spot in our business plant in England. Well the CEO of the England plant has to come back to America due to personal things. But, he is coming back permanamtly. The plant is in Holmes Chapel and you even said that was you and yours daughters favorite part of England. If you agree to go, you would have to move there! Which includes you getting a raise and becoming the CEO. We would pay for everything form your home to the home in Holmes Chapel that Roger, the former CEO, is willing to sell to you for a really cheap price. It is in great condition, its big, its in a beautiful and safe neviroment, and there is a highschool right down the road. We will pay to fly your belongings there, fly you there, and fly your daughter there so you don't have to worry about it But, there is one catch. We need to know by tomorrow and we will fly you out Sunday if you say yes!' and I told him its up to you. I have the money that Roger is asking for the house and everything else is covered for now!" she said

"Mom! We need to start packing! We only have until this weekend! I can't wait to get out of here and start from scratch by changing everythkng. Literally I'm so done with my life here, with our life here. There is nothing left for us and your gauranteed to be CEO of a company that you have worked for, for 7 years! Its about time they recognized what you are capable of!" my hands are literally shaking! I'm so exciting my words are coming out as a blur because I'm saying them to fast. I don't even know what to think.
