To the one at the café,
You're sitting by the window, alone. The rain is calming, a wave of sound bouncing off the walls. Your sweater is pulls tightly around you and your hair has fallen out from behind your ear.
You glance up every once in a while. Your curious eyes scan the room. Such a small act brings a smile to my face.
But then your eyes land on mine and I smile like an idiot.
You have such a calming and peaceful aura.
I don't know you or your story, but I feel as if the vibe you give off is quite accurate.
I think you're shy but adorably shy. I think you have a sense of mindfulness and a peaceful out look on the world around you. I think you're very open-minded and work to find a medium ground. I think you live a simple life. A simple yet wonderful life.
You seem to be one of those people who brighten a room the second they walk into it.
I think you have the ability to change the moods of those around you for the better.
But what do I know?
I'm just a girl in a café.
And now I watch as you begin packing up your laptop and your papers. You place it all in a bag that hangs off your shoulder. You smile as you walk by and on your way to the door, you pull out your umbrella.
Then I watch as you disappear through the doors and into the rain.
That's the last I ever saw of you.
So to the one at the café... I don't know where you are or even who you are, but I hope you smile every chance you get. You have a beautiful smile, one that reaches all the way to your eyes. It's breathtaking. I hope you show it off to the whole world.
