Home Sweet Home

I was skating to my new home Jc in front of me on his penny board also. The boys told Jc to go ahead with me because they wanted to talk about 'stuff'.

I was getting bored of the silence that was between us so I broke it, "Hey Jc can we race each other down to the corner over there?" I asked him pointing down the street.

He thought about it for a minute before shrugging, "Sure but don't go crying to the boys when you lose." He said playfully smirking at me and I rolled my eyes,

"I should say the same to you." I said and he led me back to the start of the last curb we reached, I got my penny board ready and placed my foot on it getting ready to push off.

I looked over at Jc and when he finished preparing he looked over at me, "You ready?" I asked and he nodded, "on the count of three?" He suggested and I nodded.

Before we could start Kian came running up to us asking what we were doing, "We're racing each other. Wanna count down?" I asked and he shrugged going beside me, "on your marks!'' Kian said as myself and Jc placed our foot on our board again.

"Get set...Go!"

He shouted and I pushed my foot on the ground earning a ton of speed. I kept pushing my foot off the ground multiple times until I felt that I was going at a fast enough speed.

The corner was about half minute away and I could hear Jc's board gaining up on me. I pushed faster and faster until I was around ten seconds away from the curb.

"Four, Three, Two, One!"

I stopped my board and jumped off turning around to see Jc coming over the line. I walked over to him smirking,board under my arm, "I win." I said smugly and he looked at me shaking his head surprised,

"You win." He nods agreeing.

The boys walk up to us and Kian smiles proudly, "Finally someone can beat Jc at a penny board race." he exclaimed and the others looked confused.

I was very surprised when Jc ran over to Ricky and pretended to cry on his shoulder, "She beat me!" He fake wailed and I laughed in amusement as did the other boys. "Aww it's ok Jc you'll get her another time." Ricky told him as he tried to hide the smile sneaking onto his face.

"R-really?" Jc said looking up and I stifled a laugh as I saw Jc's face. His eyes were huge and he was fake pouting. "Yes yes of course, now c'mon lets get Rachel to her new home." He said and I smiled with excitement.

Around ten minutes later we were in a garden walking up to a three storey house with a dark oak door. Kian took out the keys from his pocket and unlocked the door stepping to the side allowing me to go first.

"Welcome home!" Trevor said as I stepped inside the house taking in my surroundings.

In front of me there were stairs leading up to the second floor and beside the stairs, there was a door leading to another room. I turned to my right to see the sitting room. The walls were cream, there was a red couch in the middle of the floor and opposite it was a tv.

"Wanna see your room?" Ricky asked and nodded in excitement the boys amused by my hyperness. I followed Connor up to my room while the lads were behind us bring up my bags.

"You're on the second floor." Sam informed me and I turned around and gave his a warm smile. We walked down the hall and Connor stopped at the middle to the right.

He opened the door and allowed me to go in first. I thanked him and walked into my new room. The walls were beige and there was a double bed with a brown and cream duvet in the middle of the room against the wall.

To the left, the wall was empty probably for me to decorate and to the right, there was a double door wardrobe which I walked over to. I knock on the dark oak wood, "What are you doing?" Connor asked, I turned around, "Seeing if this thing leads to Narnia."

I say rolling my eyes like it was the most obvious thing ever. He pouted his lips and bowed his head, "It doesn't. I tried." He mumbled making me and the boys chuckle.

"Well,we're going to let you settle in and get all your stuff packed away. One of us will call you down for dinner and then we can get to know each other more." Ricky said and I nodded saying goodbye as they left the room. So for most of the day, I packed away my stuff until I was called down to dinner by Sam.
