Hanging Out with the Group

Connor drives me to school the next day since I can't ask Chris for a lift because his number is in my other phone, goddammit. The only good thing about this phone is that it has the games snake and Tetris and also a sudoku but I literally can't concentrate on that no matter how hard I try.

I thank Connor for the ride and exit the car walking up to the school building. I don't even know if me and Chris are having this little date today or not so I'm pretty nervous, I mean, I'll have to have an answer for him at the end of it, and I really don't want to disappoint him in any way!

"Hey Chika!" Kirsten says happily as she wraps her arms around me in a hug, I hug her back happily as we walk to the school. "So, by any chance did Chris say anything to you about me last night?" I wondered as we made our way to home room. Kirsten glanced at me and smirked, she lifted her hand to her mouth and pretended to zip it closed, "My lips are sealed."

She giggles when I groan in annoyance. We reach the door to our first classroom and walk in to be greeted by almost all the students and Mr.Jonson our first teacher of the day. "Hey Kirsten, Rachel." Chris says coming over kissing my cheek, all the teachers in our school hate PDA unless its in a play or something but they don't mind people kissing on the cheek, well most teachers. "Oi, you two, break it up." Mr.Jonson firmly instructs us, before going back to reading the book in his hands

"Hey Chris, so is today the day of our 'lunch date'?" I ask curiously, he looks over at the teacher who was looking down silently reading his book, waiting for the first bell to go, "No, I was talking to Jett and Abbey and they said that they wanted to all hang out today, and when I told them that you couldn't after school Jett suggested at lunch, I hope you don't mind though." he said all in one breath making me giggle, "of course I don't mind it'll be fun, so can we have our lunch date on Wednesday instead of tomorrow?" I ask hoping he won't get sad that I left it a day further.

"Sure, that's fine." he replies, a few seconds after the bell rings.

"So Rachel, how did you get into the school, what's your talent?" Jett asks sitting across from me at the picnic table outside. Liz, me, Chris and Kirsten were all squished on the bench one side while Ashley, Jett, Jackson and Abbey were all squished on the bench on the opposite side. "Uh, well I sing and I can play the guitar and piano?" I say more like a question, I didn't really want to brag or anything, "Can you dance?" Ashley asks me, everyone glances at me waiting for an answer, "Uh yeah, kinda." I shrug, I really hate talking about myself.

"So, how come you can't come out after school?" Jackson asks. I explain to them about how I'm grounded for sneaking out and then talking back to Ricky, and after I show them my brick of a phone, "Oh I remember having one of these!" Abbey says taking it out of my hands and messing with it, "I'm pretty sure mine is still charged." She laughs, I smile and take the phone when she hands it back to me, "Yeah, I'm left with this until I get my iPhone back." I shrug, "hey, let's give you our numbers!" Jett says happily a him and the others take out their phones.

For the rest of lunch I exchanged numbers with everyone and then we took random photos because as Ashley said, 'that's what friends do!'

The rest of the day went by quickly and when the final bell rang I took my time leaving to classroom and going to my locker, "See you tomorrow Rae!" Chris waved as he left with Kirsten, I waved to both of them and closed my locker putting the lock back on, Connor was picking me up again so I didn't have to hurry.

I waved goodbye to a few teachers that past and then finally left the school walking towards Connors car where he was in the drivers seat, typing away on his phone. I walk over to the other side and open the door alerting Connor and making him drop his phone in fright, "Hey Con!" I say kissing him on the cheek, he smiles and waits for me to put my seatbelt on.

"Hey Connor?" I ask as we drive back home, Connor hums in response not taking his eyes off the road, "Do you think Ricky would mind if I stopped by at Jenn and Andrea's place?"

Hey guys! Unfortunately I'll be going back to school tomorrow Dx why did summer have to end so fast?!

Anyway since I will have to study and all that there won't be as many updates as I or you guys would like :/ I swear I tried to write extra chapters to have ready but whenever I tried I wasn't in a good mood.

Sorry guys, I swear I will try to write a bit everyday after I finish homework and studying, I also only have less than 10hrs a week on YouTube which sucks.
