Two Weeks Left

Here's an update on life:

It's been three weeks since The water incident with Chris.

I'm finally ungrounded and have my precious phone back!!! Thank You Ricky! :D

All of my friend from school including Chris and Kirsten have come to my house more than once to do homework since I was ungrounded and now we're all much closer.

Eli and Sam have gotten pretty close and I think everyone can tell they like each other. I swear all Eli ever talks about is Sam now! like seriously, just date already and shut up, I swear I say in the most friendliest way possible :D

There are two weeks till the talent show and Chris decided to tell me last week that he's doing it solo now meaning, I have to sing and new song and choreograph new dance moves with Kirsten and Ashling.

Me and Chris are doing great but he's being more distant lately....

First the sudden change in plans for the talent show and then whenever we're talking on the phone he would always put me on hold at some point and I would spend twenty minutes waiting for him on the other end. It's worrying me, well more like scaring me. Take last Monday for example:

*Flashback*

"Hey Chris could you pass me my guitar?" I asked politely as I lifted my head up from my song book, I was writing a new song if you didn't already guess. I sighed sadly as I saw Chris typing away on his phone when he didn't hear me, this has been happening a lot lately, him typing away on his phone almost 24/7 and whenever I asked him who he was typing he would lock his phone and simply say, "No one important."

Well if this person isn't important why are you texting them so much?! I called his name again and when he didn't even look up from his phone I gave up and walked over to my guitar and grabbed it myself. Maybe I should just tell him to leave, there's no point in him being here if all he's going to do is type and ignore me, "Hey Chris, it's late, would you mind going home?" I asked pleadingly, he glanced up for a second, nodded and then fixed his eyes back onto his phone as he got up and left, yeah, just left, no "Goodbye" or "See you tomorrow".

I seriously wonder what's going on with him? Maybe Kirsten knows? Well whatever it is, he better not be like this for the talent show! I know we're not doing it together anymore but it is still counting as our first grade this year in school. He better sort everything out by then, or else I'll do something, I don't want him to get a bad result just because he's distracted.

*Flashback Over*

I pushed myself off my bed and left the room walking downstairs where the boys were eating pizza, "Hey Rae, Pizza's in the kitchen!" Connor called happily, I thanked him and grabbed a plate taking three slices of the delicious cheesy food.

I sat myself in between Trevor and Ricky who were both siting on the floor, there were seats available, but they just felt like sitting on the floor and at that moment, so did I. "So guys," I begin after swallowing the food in my mouth, "Will you be going to the talent show in my school in two weeks time? You did promise." I reminded them, they looked nervous for a second ,glancing at each other as if having a mind conversation and then covering it up by Ricky saying, "Of course."

I looked at him in confusion and he pretended not to notice, almost begging me not to ask, so I didn't. "Great, I can't wait! I wonder what Chris is doing for his act!" I wonder out loud making Ricky turn to me, "I thought he was singing with you?" I shook my head frowning, "He changed his mind and said he wanted to do it solo, so I am too! well, except For Kirsten and Ashling, they're going to dance with me." I explained, glancing down at my hands to avoid eye contact, I saw Trevor, with his hands on the ground, both balled into tight fists, he was angry about something.... Was it something do do with Chris?

The doorbell rang, we all looked up urging one another to go and answer it, in the end Connor sighed in defeat and got up. He opened the door and greeted the person outside, by the sound of the faint voice it was a girl, I didn't recognise the voice for it to be one of my friend or one of the guys friends but the voice sounded so familiar that is was weird in a way, Connor walked into the room, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

He nodded with his head motioning for me to get up, "Uh, there's someone asking for you...."
