You were practicing with your witch magic, concentrating and focusing hard. You loved nature, you admired the trees that surrounded you when you played with magic in the forest. No traffic lights, no cars, just the sound of owls hooting and fire flies wandering. You loved being out here alone. You were far away from the town's busy areas (shops, schools ect). You were the only witch in Beacon Hills (that you knew of), and no one could relate to you when you had trouble learning a spell. You practiced the basics of witchery, then you tried learning the spell to heal.
You had found a small baby bird that broke its wings and you wanted to ease its pain. You held it in your arms and tried the spell on the bird, hoping it wouldn't turn into a frog or something. The spell worked and the next thing you knew the blue bird was flying on its wings again. That made you smile. The fact that you healed something that breathed the same air as you felt better again. You waved your good bye to the bird and went back to practicing. You felt a bit tired, so you decided to take a break. You walked along the long lake that was in the forest. It was clean and clear so you saw the fishes swimming. The moon shined brightly, it wasn't a full moon or anything, it just shined brighter than usual. Just as you were walking on your small stroll, you found patches of pink dahlias. They looked so magical. You decided to sit in the middle of the patch. By now here were a lot of dahlias surrounding you. You picked one off the ground and played with the petals. You placed one in your hair above your ear. You picked some more dahlias until they formed a bouquet. You felt like a bride, getting married. You then decided to throw the flowers up in the air so they would land on you. It was like raining dahlias, it look so beautiful and dazzling. You were having fun and giggling. You never thought that flowers would bring you so much joy. Just as you were collecting a whole batch of dahlias, you heard a twig snap. You quickly looked behind you and saw a boy figure. You stood up quickly, signaling him to stop moving with your hand. You were worried, what if he stalked you here and saw you use your magic? The boy took another step, then his face illuminated in the moonlight. His skin was sparkling and his eyes were a beautiful sea blue color. His hair was a shiny blonde-gold in the light.
"I said stop!" You demanded. Despite his beauty, you were taught to be careful with strangers.
"Whoa, calm down. I was just looking for a place to hide." He pointed to the direction he came from.
"From who? Are you a robber or something?" You were scared of this guy.
The boy laughed. You must admit, it was cute.
"No, I'm just playing Hide and Seek with a couple of my friends." He smiled at you.
"Oh, well go ahead, go back to hiding. Although you won't find much luck here, there's just me, the river and these flowers." You continued to play with your new obsession.
The boy cleared his voice. "My name is Liam." He started to scratch his head."Mine is Y/N." You only smiled at him and went back to your flowers. Hoping he wouldn't try to talk to you again.
You felt Liam staring at you. You rolled your eyes and looked back at him."Is there anything else I could help you with?" You groaned. You started feeling uncomfortable.
"Well, I don't mean to sound like a creep, but I was watching you heal that bird and playing with flowers. Are you a were wolf or something? How did you heal that bird?" He asked you.
You felt creeped out. But you were confused. Why would he have thought you were a were wolf? You healed that bird, not eat it. Did he really believe in such things? Besides, they wouldn't be found in Beacon Hills. You didn't want to expose yourself as a witch, but you learnt a spell last week on removing a person's memory, but only something that happened the last hour. You were taught that it only worked on mortals, and well honestly, Liam looked like an average guy. You were planning on using the spell so he would stop bugging you and leave.
"I'm a witch, dummy, now stop talking to me. I'm trying to play with some flowers here."
You saw Liam's jaw drop. He was surprised. Of course you didn't expect anything else, he was a mortal who nothing about the supernatural world.
"That's so cool! I'm a were wolf!" He was smiling really big. Which kinda creeped you out but it was kind of cute. You were really shocked. You didn't know that there were more supernaturals at Beacon Hills.
You started thinking differently of Liam, now that you knew he was a supernatural too. You thought of him less creepy now and cuter. You stood up and then he started walking towards you, which scared you a bit. You stumbled and fell off the edge of the ground, where you would have landed in the river. You gasped and closed your eyes, you held your breath – ready to breathe under water. But you didn't fall. Liam grabbed your hand just in time, and pulled you back up.
You guys looked at each other's eyes. You felt this connection you never felt with anyone before.
"How could I ever repay you for saving my new dress I made?" You giggled.
"How about you dance with me, right here right now." He smirked.
"What about your hide and seek game? Won't your friends catch you out in the open?" You questioned. You started to sound like you didn't want to dance, but really you wanted this more than anything right now.
Liam shrugged his shoulders and held your hands and began to dance. You smiled and followed his footsteps, as you guys were dancing under the moonlight.
