"So..." Scott asked as he and Y/N stepped out of the movie theater, my arm linked with his. "What'd you think of the movie?" Scott turned to his long-time girlfriend.

"Honestly?" Y/N asked.

Scott smiled. "No. Lie to me."

"It was good." Y/N said, a look of disgust on her flawless face. When Scott chuckled, her face turned into a look of amusement.

"Yeah, amazing right?" He asked sarcastically.

"Very." Y/N and Scott looked around and realized it was raining really hard. And they still had to walk to their car. "Make a run for it?" Y/N asked Scott.

"Yep." His hand held Y/N's as they ran to the car in the parking lot. They arrived to the car and started laughing once they got in. Scott looked the woman in the passenger seat and smiled. Her hair was drenched, along with her clothes, but she still looked beautiful. She was shivering as Scott turned on the heater. Scott grabbed Y/N's hands in both of his and brought them to his mouth, blowing warm air on her icy skin.

Y/N smiled at the man she loved. "I love you, Scott." Y/N whispered, a soft smile playing at her pink lips.

"I love you, too, Y/N." Scott smiled, the action making Y/N's heart flutter. He moved his hand to her cheek and rubbed the skin. "How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?"

"I ask myself that everyday I wake up next to you." Y/N said.

"Let's go home and watch a movie better than the one we just saw?" Scott suggested. Y/N laughed.

"I'd like that." Scott started the car and began driving. His hand moved to her's and intertwined their fingers. Y/N looked down to her lap and saw their hands. She smiled and brought his hands to her lips, kissing his knuckles.

Scott got to a stop light and was thinking if he should do it. Do it now? Or wait until they got home? He looked at her, and she was looking out the window singing the song on the radio. He decided that he would do it at home. Scott turned his head and began driving once again. He smiled to himself thinking of everything he loved about her.

He loved her gentle voice, her unwavering ability to be kind, her desire to keep people safe; just like him. He thought of how protective she was, always keeping the pack safe. He thought of her fierceness as a werewolf. He thought of the day he met her.

Right after the sacrifices, Scott, Allison, and Stiles were having a hard time. Scott couldn't keep himself from shifting. He started breathing really heavy, his heart racing. He went to the nearest classroom and stayed in there. He took off his shirt and his eyes went to the red alpha color.

Y/N had been new to the school. She heard growling coming from a classroom as she walked through the halls. She backtracked and looked through the window on the door. She saw Scott hunched over the desk. Looking down the hall, wondering if she should just leave him alone, she decided to help him.

Scott heard the door open and figured it was Stiles. "Stiles, go! I don't want to hurt you."

"Well, it's not Stiles." The voice said. Scott didn't recognize it and turned to face her. Her eyes widened when she saw the fangs replacing his teeth and the red in his eyes. She walked towards him with caution. "Scott McCall, right?" she asked.

"Yeah. You shouldn't be in here." Scott growled. "You could get hurt."

"It's nothing I haven't dealt with before." Y/N closed her eyes and when they opened, they were glowing red like his. She closed her eyes and looked at him. "I can't believe you're a true alpha."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm kinda having a struggle right now. Could you help me?" Scott asked, his breathing increasing.

Y/N shook her head. "Oh yeah, right." She walked towards him and gripped his shoulders, looking into his eyes. "Find your anchor." Y/N said softly.

"I don't have one." Scott said.

"Then be your own anchor." Scott looked into her warm eyes and listened to her heartbeat. He heard how slow and perfect it was. At Y/N's words, his breathing slowed down and Y/N heard his heartbeat return to normal.

"How'd you do that?" Scott asked. Y/N's eyebrows furrowed.

"How'd I do what?" She wondered.

"Nevermind." Scott stood up straight. "Thank you." He smiled and grabbed his shirt off the ground and slung his backpack over his shoulder.

"I'm Y/N, by the way." She smiled.

"Nice to meet you. We have history together." Scott said.

"And Spanish and Algebra." Y/N shrugged, the smile still on her face.

"Yeah. Do you want to walk to Spanish?" Scott asked her.

"Of course." They walked out of the room together. This was the start of something.

"Okay, so do you want Chinese or Pizza?" Scott called from the kitchen.

"Chinese." Y/N answered back as she picked a movie from their large collection. Scott finished ordering the food and walked back into their shared living room.

"Have you picked anything yet?" Scott asked. She shook her head no. "Well, Stiles has been bugging me to watch this movie for years now; do you want to watch it?"

Y/N smiled and turned to face him. "Star Wars?"

"Yep. Let's watch it?"

"Okay." The couple sat down on the couch, Y/N sitting in Scott's lap, her back against his chest. Their food had arrived and they were about done with the movie. Okay, I'll do it now, Scott thought.

"Hey, babe?" Scott said, his fingers playing in her hair.

"Yes, Scott?" Y/N said, she paused the movie and twisted her body to look at him. She scanned his face and he looked really nervous. He was looking at his lap, so Y/N used her finger to lift his chin. "What is it baby?"

Scott grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes. She had the same soft and reassuring smile she did when he met her for the first time. "You've been there for me through everything. You've been with me through my good times and my bad times, and I'm so thankful for that. You made me a better person. No, you make me a better person." Scott smiled at her.

"I'm so in love with you. You're my everything. After Allison, I didn't think I would love anyone the way I loved her. Than I met you, and I fell harder. I never understood why they say falling in love, instead of rising in love. But you made me realize how risky love is. It's like a fall. You fall in love and hope the other person catches you. And you caught me just like I caught you."

Scott reached into his pocket, but she didn't see. "I want nothing more than to be with you forever. I love you so much it drives me crazy sometimes. I'm so lucky to have you in my life. And I thank God everyday. Now that I've told you all this, I want to ask you something. Y/N Y/L/N, will you do me the honor of spending the rest of your life with me?" He only had the ring in the palm of his hand, but she looked down. The tears in Y/N's eyes from Scott's speech falling down her face.

"You really mean all that?" Y/N asked him. She looked back up to his warm, soft brown eyes.

"Everything I've ever told you, has been true. Every I love you, every hug, every kiss has been real. And I've meant it all. I want to marry you. I want a future with you. I want to have children with you and I want to grow old with you. I want you by my side for the rest of my life."

"Scott, I love you so much." Y/N grabbed his face and kissed his lips, putting everything she had into that small yet meaningful gesture. Scott was taken by surprise but put his hands on her back, ring still in his hand.

Y/N pulled away for air. "So, is that yes?" He laughed as Y/N's eyes seemed to sparkle.

"Yes. Yes a million times. Oui, sí, yes." She whispered. Scott took her left hand, sliding the ring on her ring finger. Y/N didn't even care about the ring. All she cared about was being with him forever.

"I love you, McCall." Y/N told him, pressing her lips to his. Y/N heard Scott's heart speed up when their lips met.
