Isaac was back, and you were less than thrilled. Before he had left, there was maybe something starting between you two. Of course, no one had known about you. You hadn't known about the pack back then either. When Isaac had all but disappeared, without a single word, you had gone looking for him.

You had seen him hanging out with Scott McCall quite a bit so that had been your first stop. Of course Scott had refused to tell you anything, as had every other person in the pack, but you were persistent. When they didn't tell you anything, you had followed Stiles. He was the easiest to follow, which you now knew was because he was the only human.

Eventually, you had seen something you shouldn't have, and the pack had reluctantly told you the truth about Isaac. That was also when you had learned that you hadn't been the only person Isaac was sort of starting something with.

When you had learned about Allison, you had been heartbroken, partly for yourself and having been fooled by Isaac, and partly because all of these people, who you genuinely had started to like, had lost something important to them.

As time went on, you sort of assimilated into the pack. It wasn't a conscious decision on anyone's part, but you were intelligent, along with having your own set of skills that had come in handy. You were a technology wizard, which helped when it came getting around certain barriers, blocks, and legalities electronically. Hacking was a specialty of yours, but outside of the pack, no one was really aware of that. It wasn't something you'd brag about when law enforcement always seemed to be around.

Right as you were settling in and feeling comfortable in this new group of people, Isaac had returned. He showed up at Derek's vacant loft while the pack was trying to figure out how to defeat Peter yet again. He just strolled in like he hadn't been gone for almost a year. If he had been surprised to see you there, he didn't show it.

Everyone had welcomed the tall boy back with open arms except for Liam of course, who had no idea who Isaac even was. And, if you were being honest, Stiles's welcome could be described as lukewarm at the very best. Damn, did you adore Stiles! Out of everyone in the pack, he was the one you were closest to, although it was much more of a brother/sister relationship.

It had been nearly four months since Isaac came home, and you still hadn't thawed towards him...

Currently, you're all at Lydia's 18th birthday party. She wasn't going to have the party, but Stiles and Scott had convinced her that it was tradition, and they should have one night of normal teenage living while they could.

You're standing in the kitchen, talking with Scott, Liam, and Stiles when you notice everyone's attention move towards something, or rather someone, behind you. You turn just in time to catch Isaac walking in the door. "Oh goody, he's here..." You whisper under your breath.

Stiles scoffs a laugh out under his breath. He just enjoyed having someone else in the pack who didn't immediately fall under Isaac's charms. While Stiles didn't outright hate the guy, he also didn't see his usefulness beyond the whole werewolf thing.

"You're going to have to forgive me one of these days." Isaac side-eyes you when he reaches the group. He taps his ears once before looking down at you. "Super hearing, remember?" He smirks down at you.

"Who says I was trying to hide anything?" You roll your eyes before grabbing a bottle of vodka off the counter and walking away. If you were going to suffer through an evening in the same place as Isaac, you were going to need a buzz at the very least.

You haven't even reached the doorway before you feel his hand on your hip. "Everyone else has forgiven me. Why can't you?" He turns you around, keeping his hand on your hip.
