"Hatter, look at me" the Doctor said as he tried to get his attention. When he finally met his glare, he noticed that the Hatter's face had turned red of anger. "Remember me? Alice?"

The Hatter frowned. Of course he remembers the Doctor, he's not stupid. "You're still not Alice though..."

"Yeah, but do you know who I am?"

"The Doctor! Who else would you be?"

"Argh...never mind" the Doctor muttered as he realised that he hadn't changed even though he had a Dalek eye sticking out of his forehead.
"There's another thing that I don't understand, Davros" he said and turned to face the creator. "What's with all the planets in the sky? They should be gone! Vanished!"

"It is not my doing".

"What do you mean?" He answered as a frown appeared on his face.

"It is not a part of Dalek technology to move planets".

"Then who has done it?" The Doctor answered as he bit his underlip. "Come on, Hatter. We're leaving" he said as he took back his sonic screwdriver from Davros and then grabbed his friend's arm and dragged him down the hall only to hear his great enemy shout his name. Suddenly shots were fired from the Daleks as the word exterminate were ringing in the running men's ears.

When they finally reached the end of the hall, the Doctor pulled out his screwdriver that he had placed in his pocket, to open the metallic door. "Doctor, I have to tell you something" the Hatter tried to say but his words got drowned down by the screaming voices of the Daleks that were growing closer.

The door finally opened and out stepped the two friends as they ran back, hand in hand  to the TARDIS. Seconds later, they were safe.

"Doctor" the Hatter tried again. The Time Lord looked up and stared curiously at him.

"The Dalek eye is gone...but, how?"

"Doctor, I need to tell you something...."

"Does it only appear when you're angry? Of course! The Dalek race is built on hatred..."

-"DOCTOR, LISTEN TO ME!" The Hatter shouted and once again, the Dalek eye popped out of his forehead. Immediately, the Doctor turned quiet as he was shocked to hear the man shout.

"Doctor, there's something I've been meaning to tell you...it's fascinating, really. It sounded just like a heartbeat..."

"What did?"

"It was beautiful! It sang to me as we ran. Bom-bom....bom-bom...bom-bom...."

"Hatter, what did?"

The man from Wonderland looked into his friend's deep, brown eyes. He took a deep breath as he finally answered "the walls".

The Time Lord frowned once again, as he thought about all that had happened this odd, Thursday evening.
The Hatter....Daleks....planets....heartbeats...
