"WHAT THE FU - "
I was thrown down with force. My body ached and I muttered, "Shit, do not curse Abby. Shit, I am cursing but I cannot stop - "
"Damn it, girl! Just shut your mouth," I heard the familiar voice of Ted. I looked up and narrowed my eyes. He walked towards me with a massive pile of my clothes and my eyebrows knotted in confusion. He peeked from above the pile.
"Whoa.. is that my underwear on your head?" I desperately reached towards his head and he rolled his eyes. I snatched my pink cotton underwear and hid it behind my back shyly. He threw the clothes on the ground and muttered, "Big deal."
"It is! Don't you dare touch my stuff, it's private!" I reasoned out and suddenly he grabbed my elbow. I flinched when he pulled me close to him. "I don't have interest in your 'stuff' but your 'stuff' is entering into my part of the closet. Why do you have a pacific ocean of clothes and even if you do, keep it to yourself."
"J-Just let go of my arm and we can talk peacefully. I am not very comfortable with your species, " I mumbled and looked down.
He sighed and backed away. I sat down and started arranging and folding my clothes."You don't have a boyfriend then, do you?" He asked curiously. My eyes widened in surprise but I ignored his question. Instead, I apologised, "Sorry about this but I thought I might use some of the storage space between your closet and mine since I just went shopping yesterday with - "
"You have never been kissed?"
" - Poppy my little... wait. Hold on there. What did you ask?" I questioned him threateningly and he shrugged. "I said that you have never been kissed," He repeated.
"Why do you care about my personal life? And sorry to crack your heart but once I was kissed, back in the eight grade," I replied proudly and he laughed. I realized that I just blurted out the biggest secret of my life!
"That kiss doesn't counts because you were definitely not in love with him," He declared and my hands itched to strangle him. Instead, I decided to ignore his comment and said, "Anyway, if you have any of my clothes with you then give it back."
"I don't have any interest in dressing up as a female so don't expect me to treasure your bra and your - "
I shut my eyes and ears and cringed. I never believed that I could be having such a conversation with a boy with whom I talked the most in the recent years. Slowly, I brought my hands down and opened my eyes. I saw him busily drawing a line with a white chalk piece. "This is the boundary line. Your clothes, shoes or whatever things cannot cross this line. This is my space," He stated and I looked at him in disbelief.
"Seriously? What are we, five year old kids?"
"The way we argue is not mature either so you better don't think of wiping this off." He picked up the pile of clothes and dumped it in my area. I got up and straightened my skirt. I grabbed the chalk piece and increased my area by drawing the boundary line further. I grinned with satisfaction and threw the chalk at Ted. I flipped my hair and walked away.
