"Well - ""Sorry, that came out wrong. Just sleep beside me, nothing more. I - I miss your warmth," I admitted softly. He stared at me for a while and I bit my lip nervously. He hesitated but climbed on the bed anyway.
He laid on the bed next to me and awkwardly threw his arms around me. I shifted and made myself comfortable. He slowly hugged me and my back pressed against his chest. I could feel his breath fanning over my neck. He pulled the blanket over us. I felt so warm and good. I smiled and shut my eyes, dreaming about my lalaland.

"Holy spoonful of Nutella and handful of Pringles! Tebby has officially sailed," I heard Poppy's voice and my eyes fluttered open.
Ted's legs were tangled with mine and his face was unfortunately, right on my chest. I was wrapped firmly in his hold and I pushed his arms away.
"It's not what it looks like. I - I can explain," I said to Poppy as I struggled to get up. She denied by shaking her head and I noticed the camera in her hands.
"Don't you dare. Don't you dare click pictures - "
"Oh, I already did. And I'm posting it on Facebook and the caption will be 'relationship goals'," Poppy said casually and I threw my alarm clock at her. It hit her on her knees and she fell down. She cried in pain and shouted, "MAMMA, ABBY HIT ME - "
"Shush, you'll put me in deep trouble. I'm sorry, just don't complain about it," I pleaded and she grinned. I rarely apologised to her, but this time it was necessary.
"What's going on here?" I heard Ted's voice, softer than usual. He let go of me and got up to sit. He rubbed his eyes and brushed his blonde hair which was falling over his eyes, away. He looked so adorable with the messy blonde hair. No, I was not staring at him and I didn't call him adorable or anything. I was just sick.
"See, I'm going to post this picture in Facebook. I'm damn sure it will get numerous likes," Poppy said to Ted and showed him the picture.
"No Poppy, don't do it - "
"Cool, go for it," Ted said and I blinked at him. He was okay if Poppy posted our picture, that too in bed, with our bodies connected.
I gawked at Ted and he shrugged. "What? I don't know anybody from here so that's not a problem for me. You have to watch out, girl."
"POPPY! GIVE ME THE PHONE!"

"Your sister is so cool. I always wished for a little sister," Ted said and I scoffed.
"Ah, you don't know the real pain. She'll not miss a chance to annoy the hell out of you."
"Isn't that a job of all siblings? You should be grateful."
"Maybe," I muttered and leaned back on my chair. Poppy was downstairs watching television. My parents were back home and they were more than happy to meet Ted.
"What about the court case?" Ted asked.
"Oh, I completely forgot to tell you about it. How could I? Anyway, we went to this town court and it went er... well?"
"Tell me all about it. I want to know," Ted said excitedly and I smiled in amusement.
"Okay, but don't go off to sleep this time."
