I ran outside the room in full speed. I was filled with excitement and I couldn't contain myself. I hopped down the stairs merrily until my leg slipped and I went tumbling down.

"Ow, shit," I cursed under my breath and I could suddenly feel my neck turned stiff. I couldn't turn my neck around.

"What the eff is going on here?" Ted appeared at the top of the stairs.

"I got a catch in my neck," I said and got up. My butt hurt too because of the fall. I shamelessly rubbed it ignoring his stare.

He walked downstairs and stood inches away from me. I winced in pain that shot in my neck and butt. He brought his hand towards my neck.

"Don't strangle me," I muttered and he laughed. He gently pressed it. I winced again. He opened a nearby drawer and retrived a pain reliever cream. He applied it on my neck.

"This is pretty bad. We should go for our trip tomorrow," He suggested.

"No, I'm fine. Let's go. It hurts, but I can manage."

"I can relieve you of more pain. Let me press your booty too."

"And apply cream there too? No, thanks. My booty is not damaged except for the natural crack," I said sarcastically.

He looked amused but I did shut his mouth. I quietly followed him out of the house. The moment I stepped out, I was greeted by lights in a dark, night atmosphere. The entire place was covered with snow. Snow on the roofs of wooden houses, snow on the ground and snow on Ted's face.

"Fuck, what the hell girl? It hurts," He cursed and held his face in his hands. I smiled sheepishly.

"I didn't think it would hurt."

"You expected snow to be like cotton balls, didn't you?" He asked and I lowered my head.

"Not exactly like that, but it shouldn't have hurt - "

"You threw a big chunk of ice! Of course it would hurt, silly girl," He said and I wanted to throw a slab of ice on him. But I didn't, since I wanted him to be my guide in this trip.

We walked through the bright streets. The environment was so welcoming and all the people seemed friendly. They exchanged curious glances with each other when they saw Ted and me walking together. Ted and I were talking, but most of the time he was busy waving at his acquaintances. We walked past the stores when I suddenly remembered about Ted's bakery. I wanted to visit it.

"Ted, where's your bakery?" I asked and he hesitated.

"At the end of the street."

"Really? Oh my god, I want to see it!" I squealed in excitement and ran forward. Ted called at me and I giggled.

"Be careful," He shouted.

"Ah yes, daddy," I shouted back playfully when suddenly chilled water was thrown at me. I couldn't process anything and I fell down.

"Fuck, girl," Ted cursed and I saw him rushing towards me. I shivered and my teeth cluttered. I realized that a shopkeeper who seemed young, maybe the same age as mine,  accidently threw the water over me. I got in the way perhaps, since the boy too looked tensed and guilty.

"Bobby, bring her a blanket you fucking idiot," Ted yelled at the boy and took me in his arms.
