We walked on the streets crowded with people and the aroma of street food filled our nose. We stopped by a local restaurant and ate salmon as fish delicacies were common in Norway. We then stopped by Ted's bakery and ate the sweet Krumkake. It was basically paper thin rolls, waffle like pancakes filled with whipped cream.

We went to the park to sit and relax. The park was deserted and silent unlike the lively streets. I felt this warm fuzzy feeling due to the delicious food I had earlier. I smiled in satisfaction.

"Why are you smiling?" Ted asked and my smile widened.

"The food was so delicious, Ted," I said and stretched my hand. "I love your country, it's so beautiful."

"Because I live here," Ted said and I laughed.

"I'm so excited, Ted. Tomorrow's Christmas!" I clasped my hands and my eyes twinkled in excitement.

"I know, my days aren't going as happy as yours. There's quite a rush at the bakery and I have to work quite a lot. Grandma thankfully gave me some time to spend with you guys today," He said and sighed.

"Aw, come on man! Cheer up! It's Christmas time! What do you want for Christmas?" I asked and he hesitated.

"Well, I ... " His voice trailed and I punched his arm playfully.

"Go ahead, tell me. I can be your Santa," I offered.

"I may sound stupid and this wish is ridiculous, but I want to dine with my father. Though he was an asshole, still I want to. I don't know why but - you get it right?"

"Yes. Yes, absolutely. I understand but I'm sorry, I can't be your Santa here," I said honestly and nodded.

It was Christmas morning. After prayers and wishing my family, friends and relatives, I headed straight to Ted's house.

Before I could knock on his closet door, it opened itself. I stumbled forward and Ted's arms supported me from falling.

"How did you know that I was coming here?" I asked and moved away from Ted.

"You were running inside the closet. I was afraid that you might break it," He said and I ignored his response.

I leaned towards his ear and shouted, "MERRY CHRISTMAS! A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR LOVELY FAMILY! MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY LIVE A VERY, VERY, VERY LONG LIFE AND GOD BLESS - "

"Ah, thank you for your blessings," Ted said as he shut me up by covering my mouth with his hand. I giggled and licked his hand sensually. He quickly withdrew it and his cheeks turned light pink.

I giggled and he glared at me. I noticed a huge, bulky wrapped thing on the bed. It was so large and it had ribbons all over it. Ted noticed my attention diverted towards it. He picked up the huge present and handed it to me.

"Here, this is erm for you. It's nothing big really," He said awkwardly and I felt guilty.

"Ted, I can't. I - I didn't bring any thing for you. I didn't know that you would so, well, I'm sorry," I confessed and apologised. He laughed lightly.

"It's okay, I don't need anything. Take this, please," He requested and I gave in. I unwrapped the present and I already knew what it was. The material was so soft. I guessed it correctly, it was a big, cute teddy bear.

"Oh my God, Ted. Thank you so much. It's so cute. But I don't want it," I said and he looked crestfallen.

"I thought girls liked this stuff, so I bought it. I'm sorry," He mumbled.

"That's not the reason. I like it a lot but I don't want it."

"Why?" He asked in disappointment.

"Because, I have you," I said and wrapped my arms around him.
