Hey!

Yep, It's the author.

So if you read the chapter before this, (If The Shoe Fits (Garroth x Cadenza) Part 1), You probably noticed it's really long.

Like, Almost 3,000 words.

So you might be waiting for the second part, and well,

I haven't written it yet.

But I will start soon, just don't expect it anytime... soon.

So here's a filler oneshot with Travis and Katelyn again because they're just so adorable.

Thanks for reading!

"Travis?"

"Yeah, blueberry?"

"When do I get to meet your mom?"

"...."

"Travis?"

"Soon enough."

"Travis?"

"Katelyn?"

"Tractor?"

"Blueberry?"

"Can I meet your mom?"

"In a while."

"Come on, Blueberry."

"Where are we going?"

"To see my mom."

To say Katelyn was excited was an understatement. She quite rarely got excited, but she very much wanted to meet the lovely woman who raised her boyfriend. Travis hadn't told her much about his mother, just that he loved her very much.

"We're here."

Katelyn looked up to see they were at a cemetery. Why are we at... oh. She thought.

They walked through aisles of graves and Travis finally came to a stop at a small headstone.

They stood there in silence for a moment.

Then Katelyn carefully got down on her knees, and started to talk.

"Hello, my name is Katelyn."

Travis watched as Katelyn introduced herself to his mother's grave, and praised her for raising such a wonderful son. She laughed while telling her about how she and Travis meet, how she had fallen for him, and how they had gotten together. She even told her how much she loved Travis.

Travis felt tears coming to his eyes as he watched his girlfriend talk to his mother's grave as though she was really there. He had been scared to tell Katelyn about his mother, and how she was no longer there.

But as he watched her laugh at a joke she had just told to her, he knew he was really lucky.

He sat down beside her and listened to the story she was telling about the time they had gone to a convention with their friends.

After spending nearly an hour there, Travis finally told Katelyn it was time to go. She nodded and said goodbye, and laid some flowers she had brought down in front of the headstone.

As they walked back to Travis' car, she noticed some stray tears on his face. Wiping them away with her thumb, she smiled at him. He smiled back at her.

"She likes you."
