"So, now we are in jail."

"Yes, I see that."

"And now we have criminal records."

"No, no we don't."

"And now you are denying the truth."

"We'll be fine."

"Sure we will."

Katelyn and Travis stared out the bars of the holding cell they were in, both with a tried expression on their faces. Their hair was dishevelled, their clothes ripped, and bruises covering the arms and legs of Katelyn while a Travis nursed a black eye and bruised jaw.

Clearly, they hadn't had a good night.

Katelyn let out a sigh and Travis glanced over at her. "I'm sure Dante will be here any moment."

"And I'm pretty sure he's drunk somewhere."

The white-haired male chuckled quietly. "Can't argue with that."

They went back to staring out the cell, just willing one of their friends to walk through the door. But they both knew that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Apparently, fighting was illegal.

Even if it was your boyfriend beating up the guy who touched you when you definitely did not want to be touched.

"I could've handled it, Travis," Katelyn spoke softly.

"No, you couldn't have." He simply responded.

They continued to sit in silence until he looked over to see her shaking. He lifted his hand and brushed her cheek, causing her to turn to look at him. Her big, blue eyes were glassed over with tears threatening to spill over. In a split second, he had his arms wrapped around her and her head buried in his neck.

"H-he touched m-me, Travis," She sobbed into him.

He rubbed her back as he tried to keep the anger bubbling inside him down. He knew changing into his demon form wouldn't help at all right then. If it had been his choice, he wouldn't ever have left her out of his sight. But he had been distracted by one of his guy friends telling him something, and suddenly, he heard his named being screamed. It would most likely haunt him forever at this point.

All he could hear was her desperately yelling his names through the loud party.

He should've stayed by her side. He should have kept his eyes on her. He should have noticed eariler.

But he hadn't.

His skin was starting to turn grey, and he could feel the anger inside him screaming to be released. Her small, shaking frame had crumbled under his touch, and she shook with every cry. She looked so vulnerable, it made him even more angry that some guy had made her so scared. He wanted to rip the guy to pieces.

A sudden slamming open of a door made him look up as his girlfriend continued to cower in fear in his hold. A police office walked by and gave them a sideways glance. "Your friend didn't respond."

Travis made a mental note to burn Dante's greatest possessions when they got released, if they ever did.

"Why the heck can't you just let us go?" he growled and heard Katelyn let out a whimper at the venom in his voice.

The police officer shook his head. "You beat someone up, kid."

"Why can't you at least let her go?" He motioned to the blue-haired girl still shaking in his arms.

The police officer sighed. "Because she was involved."

"He tried to-"

"I don't really care, kid. I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do." He left into another room.

Travis resisted the urge to break down the door. The white-haired male turned back to his lover and rested his head atop hers. She wasn't shaking as violently now, but she was clearly still unsteady. Suddenly, an idea formed in his brain.

"I'm just a prisoner of your love," He sang quietly, "You got me lip locked, fire the gun, oh-oh-oh."

He felt her stop shaking, and a small smile grew on his face. "If I escaped you I would be lost. So don't bail me out babe I'll pay the cost, oh-oh-oh."

She let out a little laugh between sniffled and he grinned. "Oh-oh-oh, All of the fighting, Oh-oh-oh, Keeps it exciting."

" I'm doin' time but I don't mind, I'll be just fine," She sang, her voice barely louder than a whisper.

" Sometimes I just love to love you," He finished.

"That's not how it goes," A smile danced on her face.

He hummed, pressing his lips together to keep from laughing. "I know, but I never hate to love you."

She chuckled and pulled away, but keep her hand intertwined with his. Travis gazed at her tear-streaked cheeks and makeup-smeared face as she stared out the bars. It was times like this, so random and unpredictable, that he'd really stop and appreciate how she was beautiful no matter how she looked.

"How long do you think we'll be in here?" She questioned, causing him to break away from gazing lovingly at her.

"Not long," He mused, "Aphmau will probably freak out when she finds out, and she'll be our ticket out of here."

She laughed. "That's true. Maybe we can sing enough to get on their nerves and they'll let us go."

"Okay, let's start with Disney songs." He laughed, "I think I know the perfect one."

They glanced at each other, and matching smirks grew on their faces.

"LOVE IS AN OPEN DOOR!" They sang as loudly as they could, causing the nearby officers to glare at them.

After a few hours of going through every Disney movie they could think of, they were informed a friend was there to bail them out.

Aphmau's jaw dropped when she saw the state they were in. "What happened?!"

Aaron simply grimaced and motioned to his car. "Let's get you two home."

They made their way out of the police station after Travis used some colorful language while talking to the police officer. Reaching Aaron's car, Travis opened the door for his girlfriend, winking at her. "Love is an open door."

She grinned. "Love you, too."
