Chapter 6

He looked like those perfect strangers who we see and pass by on the street. Although I was never very interested in having a boyfriend-very differently from my friends who had boyfriends at the age of 12, or being in a relationship, I was always imagining the perfect boy for me,just like every other girl in this whole world. This boy had a beautiful smile. I noticed dimples while he was smiling. Smile I'd see in the dark. I've imagined the look but I was always adding some traits. You don't need to look perfect if you're a moron. And to be honest, this guy looked like him. Although I never experienced love, I believe in fate, I believe that maybe there is a boy destined for me. Maybe not as I imagined him, but he is still intended for me. The one.

"I'm Mateo, I'm glad." He finally introduced himself, extending his hand towards me, and me giving my hand for a handshake.

"Sophia" "I said and smiled.

"We are your neighbors, residing in this apartment"-Elsa said and pointed to the apartment next door. "We arrived yesterday, we saw that you arrived today so I suggested Mateo to pay you a visit and to get to know each other."- Elsa said with the same smile. I wondered how she managed to keep a smile that long.

I tried,but I could not get my eyes off of Mateo.

"Excellent . Oh,come on in.".

Elsa sat next to Alex, but because she studied chemistry, the two immediately started scientific discussions. It was terrible for me. Just thank you guys. I failed to relax in front of Alex, and now I was almost alone with Mateo, who to be sincere, physically I liked, he looked great. I never had a chance to meet and speak with a nice boy like him, and now I did not know what to do.

The conversation continued. He did not set off the smile from his face all the time, and I did too many attempts simultaneously. I was trying to calm down, to be normal, not to stare weirdly at him and not to scare him because the conversation flowed great. For me,talking with a man like him,this was the biggest success.

The sun started going down.

"Guys, why not continue the conversation on the balcony? We definitely have the best view. "- Suggested Alex

"It would be great." We all agreed. We got up and went out on the balcony.

Indeed, we have definitely the best view. Really.

What will happen in the next few days? Will Sophia and Mateo get close? Do they like each other? But every one has their own secrets. Will they be found out and ruin the friendship? It remains to be seen.
