Addie quietly watched the other three as they stared at their screens. A small frown appeared on her face as he heard a small snicker from Lilia.
"Are you okay, Addie? You're not high, right?" She asked with a small smile. Said female furrowed her eyebrows as she lowered the tablet.
"What do you mean?" Addie asked with a frown. "I'm not joking with you guys! This is real. I swear. Look." She lifted the tablet back up, slowly scrolling through the file. "Look. They've collected several volunteers that don't know what they're getting into. They're going to inject them with some serum that'll make them go rouge or whatever. They're going to unleash them so they can infect everyone else."
She looked back at them watching their faces.
"I mean.." Sophie spoke up after a moment. "It's not impossible. I mean, we're extremely advanced in science and technology."
Addie set the tablet down, watching El as she waited for his response.
"It sounds insane, but it might be real." He said with a small nod. "Look, we can come over. See it for ourselves. That might give us a good understanding of what's going on."
Addie quickly nodded. "Come on over. Mom's not home since she's out of town for work, and obviously Dad isn't here. I'll get some breakfast ready. I'm sure none of you have eaten yet."
She earned small nods and 'yes's from all three, before one by one they exited the call.

Sophie was the first to arrive, getting there right after Addie finished cooking and putting everything on plates and in the living room. A few minutes passed before the next person, El, came, and at that point Sophie was already halfway done with her eggs and bacon, and was on her second cup of coffee.
Lilia arrived right after El had started his waffles and bacon. It was an understatement to say that Lilia was still amused by Addie's claim.
As soon as she gathered everyone in the living room and placed a cup of coffee in Lilia's hand and her own spot, Addie rushed off to grab the tablet and brought it back to the group. "Look." She said, unlocking the tablet and opening the file back up. "They talked about everything in here. All their plans, where the serum is located, talks of a vaccine if one of their own gets infected."
She placed the tablet down on the table in front of the other three. She silently watched as the three leaned over the tablet, reading the information for themselves.
"I know it's crazy to say, but this looks real." Sophie said. She earned a small nod from El. The two looked up at Lilia, who ran a hand through her hair.
"Fine." She simply said as she leaned back on the couch. "Maybe this all is real. But what are we supposed to do about it? I mean, they plan to unleash the virus in less than three days."
Addie lightly smiled. "We stop them. We leave today."
