Ate's face slightly paled.
"They- They what?" She asked, blinking several times.
Gally let out a breath before shaking her head. "Don't make me repeat it." She said. "I hate saying it and Dyan hates it being mentioned. It makes him anxious. Just.. don't bring it up and get some more sleep."
The other female was about to protest before she earned a look.
"Please."
Ate let out a breath and gave a curt nod.
"Ok."
In the other car, El had woken up and nearly forced Addie to let him drive, and not her. She moved to the back to sit with Sophie, who had earlier moved to the back and fallen asleep.
The car ride was rather quiet, which was nice. The only noise was the occasional passing car going the opposite direction of them.
"What's up with you?"
El's question broke the silence.
"What do you mean?" Addie asked in response.
"You look happier than usual, which is something I wouldn't have said until a few days ago."
Addie's gaze flickered over to the pink-haired girl beside her.
"No fucking way."
It was obvious that El was grinning. She could tell because of his tone.
"What did I miss while I was sleeping?" He glanced back at the two in the rear-view mirror.
"Nothing."
"Nothing my ass. My guess is that since you two were 'alone' you finally confessed your love for each other."
A bright blush found its way onto the brunette's face.
"Oh yeah you two did. Lilia and I were waiting for the day that would happen. Seriously."
Addie was about to make a remark, but quickly closed her mouth as Sophie let out a small groan. She watched her as she adjusted herself into a more comfortable position, which happened to be Addie's shoulder.
"Cute."
"Shut up, El."
No matter how much she wanted to be mad, she couldn't. She loved this. She was happy.
