A/N: Really quick A/N to describe some stuff for this chapter and any like this! Regular typing will be describing Addie's group. Italics will deceive the others. Cool? Cool. Oh, and also prepare for a very not storylined chapter and lots of gay.
Everyone was able to sleep rather peacefully, which was surprising due to the circumstances of the world around them. However, even though the sleep was peaceful, the most sleep was gotten was only about six hours. After a quick breakfast and the group heavily stocking up on supplies; food to medical supplies to extra clothes, the group was on the road.
Last minute, Sophie had decided to take a place in the Kia, not feeling the most comfortable with being in a car with Dyan, mostly because the two just met. Since Dyan's car was larger, Dosik and Lilia had also decided to switch cars. It ruined their original plan, but it wouldn't ruin anything else.
So now Addie, El, and Sophie were in her car. El had taken up the responsibility as the gentleman he was to sit in the back (He really just wanted to be able to spread out across all three seats) and let Sophie sit up front.
Like the others, they were starting on the north part of the west coast, and would work their way down.
They had only been driving for about an hour before El had started to fall asleep. It wasn't surprising. He only got three hours of sleep.
Like El, Ate and Gally had both fallen asleep in the back row of Dyan's car. Naturally, the two had ended up leaning against each other. Oh the luxury of become close instantly.
Lilia was wide awake, but the story wasn't the same for Dosik. Dosik was in and out of sleep, her head rested against the window next to her.
Dyan was amused by the four's current states. Who would've thought that after a day of knowing each other, so much love would be around them.
It had been about another hour or so and Addie and Sophie were thankfully still awake, while El was still asleep. The two females had been talking about random things. Shows they'd miss watching if things never went back to normal. Characters from said shows that they loved. Stereotypical girl things like..
Crushes.
Oh that had caused a minute of awkwardness when Sophie brought it up.
It was awkward because of the fact that it had been a question asked to Addie from Sophie.
It was awkward because you don't just straight up say 'Oh yeah I like you' and expect to get a coolio answer.
It was awkward because the feelings were returned to and from both parties, but neither knew.
It was awkward (and a bit funny) when El groggily said 'Stop being such awkward gays and just kiss' before falling back asleep.
It, however, wasn't awkward when the car stopped and an extremely red Addie's hand was grabbed by one Sophie's.
It wasn't awkward when Addie's cheek was covered with Sophie's free hand.
It wasn't awkward when Sophie pulled Addie to herself and kissed her like it was the last time they ever would.
It was amazing and blissful and great.
And a minute later they were back on the road.
However, hands were held now.
