Only two more days of band camp left for me and then we have a performance 😂.
My band just got fitted for our new uniforms 😁 they're scheduled to come in on September 1st. That's exciting!
Also, today during sectionals, some alto freshman decided it would be smart to smart talk and cuss at our section leaders.. he gave attitude to them for about 30 minutes, and didnt even go to attention when we were called to it... it got so out of hand that a Junior in the tenor section got so fed up that she walked away and threw her hat down... Who could be so dumb?
My friend hasn't been coming to band camp because we found out that she was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago... She got her knee replaced so she won't be marching. Hopefully she still joins band 2nd semester... 😕 I hope she recovers well and that we get to see her soon 😊
