Yesterday was our very first football game of the season, and it was also our Homecoming Game! The marching band representative was announced Queen.
Football games get so crazy I'm not even joking... the school we were playing against brought part of their band , and they were throwing stuff at us when we were marching around the away bleachers. They were talking crap about our band and even played during our Alma Mater. Also, when we were walking around the field to put our equipment away, the football players from the other team pushed a bunch of our band members and spit at us.
So one of the tenor saxes said to their coach, "Take care of your team before we kick their a****." And walked away.
Their team didn't score anything, so this was the first game our football team actually one 😂.
Anyway, the bus ride back was awesome 👏.
