I was wondering what rules different bands have, so I'll just list down some of ours 😊
1. NO PDA (Public Display of Affection) this means no hugging, kissing, getting close, holding hands, blah blah blah and quote my director, "No holding index fingers."
2. No butts on the field! The field is ours, it is our stage, treat it with respect! Just don't sit on the grass! In fact, this is marching season, what even is sitting?
3. No cursing on the field! That's 50 pushups for every word!
4. You cannot tell someone that's older than you what to to. And freshmen can't correct other freshmen!
5. BE ON TIME. For every minute you're late, that's 5 pushups.
6. Always do as told. For goodness sake, listen to the upperclassmen!
7. WATER BREAKS ARE PRECIOUS. But do not drink water unless the director specifically says, "Water break!"
8. BE CAREFUL. If you accidentally hit your instrument on something, that's 100 pushups plus a lap!
9. No running with your instrument! Oh god, please don't.
10. Stay alive.
