Airi pov:
I groaned as consciousness returned to me. I pressed my lids together as my head pounded. I felt like someone was whacking me on the head with a hammer.
My body felt really heavy too. My joints were stiff and even though the pain I remember to be feeling with all the blood dripping wounds I had from fighting Aldrik wasn't there anymore, I still had almost no energy.
I finally peeled my eyes open to see the unfocused ceiling above me. I was lying on something soft, probably a bed and the weight of the rug over my body was actually sort of suffocating. The room I was in was dark and I was glad for that. I was sure my head would hurt more if it was bright here. I could also hear the noise of crickets from outside this room that confirmed my guess of it being night time now.
I brought a hand to my forehead, sighing as the coolness of my hand eased my head ache a bit. My eyes were back to normal now so I could see everything clearly. I lowered my hand and looked to the side, only to come face to face with red fur.
I heard a purr and the ball of red fur curled up closer into the crook of my neck. It wasn't difficult for me to figure out that Lector was the one who was sleeping next to me. He was warm and the soft fur brushing against my cheek and neck felt nice. A smile grazed my lips and I placed my hand gently on top of his sleeping frm.
Making sure that I didn't walke him, I sat up slowly. I winced, holding my left rib that seemed to throb when I moved. I looked down at myself, glad to see that all my injuries had been healed. Well, there weren't any open blood oozing wounds but my body was still sore from the loss of blood and reiatsu.
I looked around the moderate sized room I was in. There was a single bed, the one which I was using, a cupboard, a small table and two chairs on one side near the window. To my left, Mirajane was sitting on a chair and her eyes were closed. She was breathing deeply, indicating that she was asleep. To my right was Hanataro sitting on a stool and sleeping on his folded arms on the side of the bed.
Lector was asleep on the pillow, curled up into a ball beside me. Sting wasn't here though, which was surprising considering the fact that he never went anywhere without Lector by his side.
Besides the three people and one Exceed in this room, I could sense the maryokus of everyone else in the building. About ninety percent of them were from Fairy Tail while the others I could sense included Sting, Rogue, Frosch, Master Bob, and a few members from Lamia Scale. I guess they were close to some members from Fairy Tail and had decided to stay with us here.
Shaking my head with another sigh, I pushed the blanket off myself and turned. I shivered when my feet met the cool floor. When I stood up, the room spun and I staggered. I took support of the bed side table only to knock over the vase that was placed on top of it. It fell to the ground and shattered waking up everyone in the room with a start. I heard some commotion from outside the room as well indicating that some of the others had been woken up from the sudden noise.
Hanataro fell off his chair startled and Lector shot up into fighting position, his tail now looking like a bottle brush with its fur bristling up in his fright. Mirajane wasn't as startled and immediately switched on the room light to see what had happened. When she saw me, she was at my side in an instant helping me balance myself.
I heard hurried footsteps in the distance and several people burst into the room worried. Sting and Rogue were the first to get here, followed by Master Makarov, Master Bob, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy and Lisanna. I blinked, staring at them as they looked around the room worried. They looked at the broken vase, Mirajane, Lector, Hanataro and finally me. Seeing that I was okay, all of them sighed in relief.
