Dummy: are you foR REAL

You: Yes, why would I joke about something like that

Dummy: HOSEOK YOU KNOW I LOVE OREO'S YOU COULD'VE AT LEAST SAVED ONE FOR ME

You: Nah

Hoseok's laughter echoed in the quiet downtown plaza. The snow was piling higher, and every breath he took almost hurt because of the cold, but he was here for Jungkook. He knew the younger male would want something for Christmas (which was coming up a bit too quickly, if you ask him), and the only idea that had popped into his mind was taking the younger to dinner. He knew most places would probably be jam packed with people, but at least one place nearby would have to be accepting reservations. And that's why he decided to walk to his longtime favorite diner.
He continued walking for a bit longer before stopping in front of the neatly decorated outlet, smiling to himself proudly.

It took him almost an hour to find the place; he wouldn't dare leave without a table for two reserved specially for Christmas night.

As he steps inside, the first thing he notices is the lack of customers.

Not that it's a problem.

He cleared his throat, grabbing the attention of the short woman standing behind the cash register.

"Oh, hello! How may I help you?" She asked, a grin spreading across the woman's face.

"I'd like to reserve a table. For two. On Christmas." He smiled back, internally cringing at his awkward demeanor.

The girl got to work checking open seats for that night, the smile fading into a more serious look as she concentrated.

"It looks like we have a table," she beams. "You said for two, correct?"

Hoseok just noddes.

"Who's the lucky lady?" The waitress cooed, looking up from the monitor.

"Gentleman. And, he is the most fascinating person I've met in a very, very long time," he replied, watching the girls face turn a bright shade of red.

"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have assumed..!" She exclaimed. "But, from that remark alone, I think this man is very lucky to have you."

Hoseok nodded again, "Thank you."

After a bit more chatting, the girl told Hoseok that he is free to leave, and that his reservation had been added to the list.

He rushed out of the warm building, a gust of icy wind hitting him like death itself. Jungkook owes him one, for sure.

Now, he can only hope the younger will accept his gift.
