Hoseok hadn't been to the cafe in almost two months.

Jungkook still texted him, but Hoseok wouldn't text back.

He was mortified.

He knew deep down that it really wasn't that bad, and that jungkook seriously didn't care, but that didn't stop him from avoiding the younger as much as humanly possible.

So when Jungkook showed up at his apartment door, he almost screamed.

"Howdy, stranger."

"Jungkook...." Hoseok mumbled.

"Yeah, that's my name.."

Hoseok wanted to die.

"I, um.."

Jungkook only smiled. "Hoseok, I don't need to know why you're avoiding me - I just want to make sure you're alright."

He slowly looked at the floor. "I'm sorry, Jungkook.."

"Whatever it is, it's alright. As long as you're okay, I'm okay, too."

Hoseok began to cry. He couldn't wrap his brain around how he got someone so caring and forgiving to be his. He didn't remember doing anything specific in his lifetime that would cause Jisoos to send someone like Jungkook his way, but maybe he just forgot. Probably.

Either way, he couldn't get enough of it.

He watched as Jungkook opened his arms, and he immediately ran into them. As he clung to Jungkook's chest, he sobbed.

He missed Jungkook more than he thought.

The next day, he finally visited the cafe. All the other employees seemed happy to see him again, and Hoseok was more than happy to be there.

One of the Baristas (one he didn't know; but reading the name tag, their name was Yoongi.) greeted him, asking what he wanted. He ordered, being sure to ask if Jungkook was there. He was. Hoseok sat down in the corner, staring outside. The weather was finally turning warmer, and Hoseok was grateful. Spring was always his favorite, even if it did bring even more rain (which he despised). He peacefully watched a bee land on a bloomed flower, the warm morning rays of sun hitting his face. He was happy.

However, he was pulled out of his thoughts by Jungkook. The younger sat down across from him, gently sliding the paper cup to Hoseok.

"It's good to see you again," Jungkook chirped.

He smiled, "I guess I'm glad to be back."

"You guess? You better be, or else I'm taking that coffee back."

Hoseok only laughed.

He really, really missed this. More than he could imagine.

He was happy Jungkook hadn't forgotten him.
